Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has been developing rapidly and the process of industrialization and information technology has been accelerating. With the consequent constraints of energy and resource endowment and the impact of ecological environment, the research on new energy has become one of the focuses of China’s development in recent years.Nuclear power is an important part of emerging industries, which is of great value in energy structure optimization, ecological environment protection and driving the development of related manufacturing industries. To promote the "going global" of China’s nuclear power industry and accelerate the pace of new energy production capacity cooperation is an inevitable trend of the development of high-end development of China’s industry. On the one hand,it can help the growth of China’s foreign trade,on the other hand,it can promote China’s industrial upgrading and help China to occupy a leading position in the international industrial pattern. In this paper, questionnaire survey and structured interview are used as survey methods. On the basis of enterprise competition strategy management theory, this paper will introduce the market development environment of nuclear power business of CGNPC in southeast Asia, and determine the alternative competitive strategy combined with the SWOT and QSPM matrix. It also will put forward feasible safeguard measures for the implementation of the strategy. From the perspective of external macro environment, the development of CGNPC faces opportunities: economic and social development, ecological environment improvement, adjustment and optimization of energy structure all need to develop nuclear power.Nuclear power is a strategic emerging industry vigorously cultivated by the state, has broad international market space and enjoys national policy support. At the same time,it also faces some challenges: the public acceptance of nuclear power has decreased after the Fukushima nuclear accident, the slowing growth of social electricity consumption and power marketization reform have brought great uncertainty to nuclear power volume and price.Nuclear power safety standards have increased the cost of nuclear power enterprises, and nuclear power still faces the risk of being replaced by renewable and clean energy.Generally speaking, the external environment for CGNPC’s nuclear power business in Southeast Asia is favorable, and the opportunities outweigh the challenges. From the perspective of internal conditions, the advantages of nuclear in: formed the nuclear safety as the core enterprise culture and the core nuclear safety management system, with independent intellectual property rights of three generations of nuclear power technology, nuclear power unit operation performance, high operation management level and build southeast Asia “go out” platform, has rich experience in nuclear power construction, management norms, international exchanges and cooperation. The main disadvantages are: lack of resource integration, dilution risk of talent team and corporate culture, lack of lean management level, and nuclear fuel supply are subject to competitors. On the basis of external opportunities and challenges, internal advantages and disadvantages analysis, from strengthening the nuclear power business safety production operation management, strengthen engineering construction management, strengthen market development and strengthen comprehensive management put forward the China nuclear power business southeast Asia market competition strategy implementation strategy, and from the capital, human resources, organization, corporate culture, party building leading the guarantee and support Suggestions. This paper is of positive significance for CGNPC to implement nuclear power business competition strategy in Southeast Asia.
