The report of the 20th Party Congress focuses on the inheritance of excellent Chinese traditional culture,because traditional culture has a long history and humanistic heritage,and is the cultural foundation of the Chinese nation.Architectural heritage,as an essential material carrier of traditional culture,is also of high value,and it is necessary to study it in depth.As virtually all the princes’ mansion of the Qing dynasty were concentrated in the inner city of Beijing,the architectural heritage of the princes’ mansion is one of the important carriers of the ancient capital of Beijing,and the princes’ mansion family temple architecture of the Qing dynasty is an important part of it,and as a space and place for the clan rituals of the royal family,it shows certain special features in terms of function,it is necessary to study it in a special research.In addition,the princes’ mansion family temple architecture also carries the Chinese traditional culture of sacrificial culture,which has important significance for the study of the Qing imperial family’s sacrificial culture.However,in the past architectural history research,the princes’ mansion architecture as a special type of architecture,There are few related thematic studies.Moreover,in the course of rapid urban construction,many of the princes’ mansion family temple distributed inside and outside the imperial of princes’ mansion buildings have been demolished and altered,The current preservation situation is worrying,and public awareness of it is also very low.In this situation,this thesis proposes to research in detail the architectural characteristics of the princes’ mansion family temples in Beijing of the Qing dynasty,On the one hand,it can supplements the theoretical study of architectural history,and on the other hand,it can raise public awareness of these buildings,responding to the new era advocating the integration of architectural heritage into people’s modern life,therefore improving the quality of modern urban life.Through documentary research and current research,this thesis sorts through all the documents and a total of 30 extant traceable princes’ mansion family temple buildings and use it as a research subject.exploring the formation and evolution of the princes’ mansion family temple architecture,summarizes the characteristics of its architectural regulations and its relationship with the princes’ mansion,and then conducts a detailed analysis and research on the spatial layout of the princes’ mansion family temple courtyard and the individual buildings according to the actual situation to summarize its architectural characteristics.Finally,exploring the influencing factors of the architectural characteristics of prince’s mansion family temple,excavates its intrinsic value.In order to enrich the theoretical research system of prince’s mansion family temple architecture,supplement the research content of architectural history theory,and also provide suggestions for the protection of prince’s residence family temple architectural heritage.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which describes the background of the study,the purpose and significance of the study,the object and content of the study,as well as a literature review of relevant research progress at home and abroad,and develops the research methodology and research framework.The second chapter is a study on the formation and development of the princes’ mansion family temples in the Qing Dynasty.This section starts with the development of ancestor worship and sacrificial culture contained in the princes’ mansion family temple,then study on the development and evolution of Qing Dynasty royal sacrificial architecture and research on architectural regulations related to it.Finally,summarizing the reasons for the formation and development process of the prince’s mansion family temple.The third chapter is a study of the current situation of the architecture of the prince’s mansion family temple in the Qing Dynasty.This section first studies the overall distribution characteristics of the prince’s mansion family temples,as well as the internal and external family temples Secondly,It studied the location relationship,quantity and scale characteristics of the princes’ mansion family temple and the princes’ mansion.Finally,summarize the reasons for the formation and development process of the prince’s mansion Temple.The fourth chapter is a study of the assessment of their value.It analyze the factors that influence the formation of architectural characteristics of the princes’ mansion Family Temple from aspects such as spiritual culture,political
