Research On The Micro-regeneration Mode Of Urban Aged Industrial Residential Area From The Perspective Of Heritage Preservation

Lanzhou,one of the eight key industrial cities,chose to be the target city of this research because of its prominent problems in the preservation of residential Soviet-style industrial heritage under the realistic background of insufficient attention to the preservation and regeneration of Soviet-style residence industrial heritage.In order to restore the spatial evolution process,summary the character of architecture spatial evolution process,discriminate influence factors,and research the composite mode of micro-regeneration for Welfare Area of Xigu District,which based on the complex and diverse existing problems,this paper use historical archives analysis and translation method,archives investigation method,cases study method,etc.completed this research.This paper has contributed to our present understanding of the logical relationship between the spatial evolution laws and the development and transformation needs of aged industrial residential areas,and it has contributed to enrich the theory of preservation and regeneration for Soviet-style residential industrial heritage;it has reference significance for the preservation and micro-regeneration practice of residential Soviet-style industrial heritage in Lanzhou and the micro-regeneration practice of the entire aged industrial residential area in Xigu Workers’ Welfare Area.The main contents include four parts: Firstly,analyzed the character of architecture spatial evolution process,judged logical relationship between the spatial evolution process and the guidance of muti-roll Comprehensive Plans.Secondly,inspected the status quo of Welfare Area of Xigu District,judged material and immaterial Soviet-style factors’ comprehensive value.Thirdly,research relative cases from home or abroad to firm its usability or inapplicability,and provided combined micro-regeneration planning model from the perspective of heritage preservation,preservation and micro-regeneration intention transmission mode which connect regulatory detailed plan,and operation mode from the perspective of heritage preservation,and then studied Lan Mianchang Sushe historical and cultural district,Fulin residence and Lan Shihua No.15 Block three cases’ preservation and micro-regeneration from regulatory keys of preservation and micro-regeneration plan,strategies of preservation and micro-regeneration,spatial design plan,measures of the operations for the projects of preservation and microregeneration based on three modes.Finally,provided strategies of preservation and microregeneration for the whole area of Welfare Area of Xigu District,which consist of five-year strategic planning,plan and program for preservation and micro-regeneration,chain microregeneration,inheritance of intangible cultural heritage,operation measures conversion.The research concluded that: 1)There is a significant logical relationship between the spatial evolution of the Xigu Workers’ Welfare Area and the evolution of the muti-roll Comprehensive Plans;2)There are prominent problems that need to be solved urgently in both the material spatial and the humanistic & social aspects of the Xigu Workers’ Welfare Area;3)The Soviet-style residential heritage in Xigu Workers’ Welfare Area have certain comprehensive value;4)Micro-regeneration cases of aged industrial residential areas at home and abroad are both verifiable and inapplicable;5)The micro-regeneration mode from the perspective of heritage preservation is suitable for coordinating the preservation of Soviet-style residential architectures and the material spatial micro-regeneration of Xigu workers’ welfare Area;6)The micro-regeneration strategies from the perspective of heritage preservation is suitable for motivating the continuous micro-regeneration of the entire Xigu workers’ welfare area.In addition,the research also provided several recommendations for the preservation of Soviet-style industrial heritage in Xigu District.Main innovations of this paper are summarized as follows: 1)Deeply summarize the connotation and extension of Soviet-style architecture,use various historical archives to draw the texture of Soviet-style architecture in different historical periods of Xigu Workers’ Welfare Area,and formed a chronological map of lost texture,provided references for the identification and census of Soviet-style architecture in Xigu Workers’ Welfare Area;2)Researched microregeneration mode of Soviet-style aged industrial residential areas from the perspective of heritage preservation,which is different from the micro-regeneration study of formal heritage preservation,production lines’ heritage and general residence;3)Provided micro-regeneration composite mode integrating planning,conduction,and operation,which is different from the single mode,and discussed the application of the mode.
