Research On The Evolution Of Enterprise Innovation Capability And Innovation Performance From The Perspective Of Open Innovation

At the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,innovation is the primary power for growing.Although China has begun to focus on innovation,there are still issues such as low innovation efficiency.Open innovation mode is one of the important ways to get rid of this dilemma.Relevant empirical studies have confirmed the positive effect of open innovation on performance,but there are relatively few case studies focusing on enterprises.In the process of practice,open innovation will face various problems.Enterprises may ignore the changes of internal and external environment and fail to adjust the development direction of open innovation mode in time,or they may overemphasize the degree of openness,resulting in the loss of innovation ability.Therefore,it can be seen that analyzing the open innovation mode implemented by enterprises in different open situations and the innovation capability formed under this mode,and concluding the universal path of the open innovation mode implemented by enterprises in specific open situations and the innovation capability shaped,has useful guideline for company that try to promote their merits by selecting appropriate open innovation modes.Directed against the theoretical blank in existing theories,linked with the hands-on experience of companies,the article uses the open situation as the entry point and the innovation capacity formed under different open innovation modes as the research guidance,and carries out an exploratory case study of 2009-2021 for Haier Group,a pioneer of open innovation.By analyzing the different open innovation modes adopted in different stages of open innovation and the different requirements on innovation capability,this paper tries to find out the dynamic evolution path of open innnovation and innovation capability,and analyzes the effect of ability to innovate evolution on establishment innovation performance afterwards.At the same time,the correlated data were gained through field interviews and second-hand data gather,and the dependability of the conclusion was improved by data comparison and multiple verification.The following conclusions can be drawn through research:(1)The evolution path of open innovation model with the dynamic changes of open context is "endogenous dependence type-dominant participation type-community co creation type".Due to the continuous changes in technology and market situations,companies need to turn-up their open innovation models in a timely manner according to different situations.(2)The dynamic change of enterprise innovation capability with the open innovation model presents an evolution path of"independent innovation capability-integrated innovation capability-governance innovation capability".(3)The evolution of innovation capability has a promoting impact on enterprise innovation performance.With the continuous development of the open innovation process model,the R&D investment and output of enterprises in various stages are increasing.In summary,this article reveals the evolution path of enterprise innovation capability and its positive impact on enterprise performance from the perspective of open innovation.In theory,this article links open innovation and open context,analyzes the evolution mechanism of enterprise innovation capability from a dynamic perspective,and also provides a supplement to relevant research on open innovation models and innovation capability evolution.In practice,this paper draws a mechanism model for the evolution of enterprise innovation capabilities,which provides a reference for other enterprises to plan open innovation models and develop innovation capabilities.
