| In the traditional closed innovation mode,there exists the problem of large investment in innovation,but also accompanied by high risk of innovation failure and insufficient innovation efficiency,so that enterprises have insufficient internal innovation power and low innovation ability.Faced with the ever-changing technological environment and volatile international environment,the aforementioned innovation issues of Chinese enterprises need to be resolved urgently.Under the influence of emerging concepts and technologies such as sharing economy and "Internet +",open innovation,a new innovation mode,is gradually known to the public.In order to solve the problems of traditional innovation,more and more enterprises begin to transform their traditional innovation mode into open innovation mode.The current open innovation is generally to build an open innovation platform on the virtual network,integrate the enterprise’s specific customer,supply chain and product layout,integrate the enterprise’s internal and external innovation resources,and use intelligent AI,big data and other advanced technologies to efficiently match the supply side and demand side of innovation.Most scholars believe that open innovation is positively correlated with enterprise innovation performance,but there are more studies from the empirical direction in the existing literature,and few case studies.Starting from the case direction,we can more clearly explore the influence mechanism of open innovation platform on enterprise innovation performance.This paper takes BYD as an example,summarizes the mechanism of enterprises using open innovation platform to improve innovation performance according to the studies of other scholars,and combined with the characteristics of Di Link open platform and the characteristics of BYD new energy vehicle related industries,deeply explores the mechanism of Di Link open platform affecting BYD innovation performance.In addition,according to the specific mechanism and data availability,the impact of Di Link open platform on innovation performance was evaluated from two aspects: innovation input and innovation output.The results show that the Di Link open platform mainly improves BYD’s innovation performance through the following mechanisms;(1)The driving mechanism and evaluation mechanism at the level of value proposition innovation strengthen the innovation motivation and vitality of enterprises;(2)The cooperation and coordination mechanism and knowledge fusion mechanism at the level of value creation and innovation reduce the risk of innovation and ensure the stability of innovation activities;(3)The knowledge sharing mechanism and trading mechanism at the level of value transmission innovation enhance the efficiency of innovation;(4)The knowledge acquisition mechanism and knowledge possession mechanism at the level of value acquisition innovation mechanism guarantee the rights and interests of all participants.Finally,through the evaluation of BYD’s innovation performance,it is found that the Di Link open platform stops the rapid growth of BYD’s R&D input and tends to be stable.Meanwhile,it improves BYD’s operating income capacity and achieves the effect of cost reduction and efficiency increase.Di Link open platform has improved the innovation output of BYD,the number of patent applications of various enterprises has increased significantly,and the products developed have a good market performance,enhancing BYD’s position in the industry.Based on the above analysis,this paper believes that the open innovation platform represented by Di Link open platform in the new energy vehicle industry can have a positive impact on the innovation performance of enterprises,and draws the following enlightenment:(1)Increase the open source of the platform and improve the innovation vitality of enterprises;(2)Make use of platform interaction to ensure innovation stability;(3)Use platform integration to improve innovation efficiency;(4)Guarantee the interests of relevant parties and ensure the sustainability of innovation. |
