| In recent years, most cities in China are undergoing the development of "old city reconstruction" and "new city construction".But blindly carrying out large-scale demolition and construction, but also ignore the social role of the block, the daily life of citizens and urban livability is deeply affected. The living street walking space is the public space with high coverage in the old city, and it is the main place for people to carry out daily activities. At present, there are some problems exposed in the slow-walking space of living streets in the old city of Xi ’an.People’s sense of belonging and identity to the old city is gradually deteriorating and disappearing. Therefore,it is particularly important to rebuild the quality of urban street slow space and create a livable and high-quality space environment.Firstly,by analyzing the current research situation at home and abroad, this paper defines the classification, characteristics and constituent elements of emotional design and living street slow-walking space.Combining with relevant basic theories such as environmental psychology and emotional geography, this paper takes living street slow-walking space in Ming District as the research content, and translates the three-level theory of emotion into the design and transformation of street space. From the level of instinct, behavior, reflection classification research. On this basis, five living streets with different styles in Mingcheng District were selected for field investigation, and semantic analysis under behavioral architecture was used to design questionnaires and make quantitative analysis of evaluation results. The main current problems of the walking space in Mingcheng District were summarized from three emotional levels, including color disharmony, insufficient pavement material richness and lack of street characteristics at the instinctive level. In terms of use level, the passage space is narrow and discontinuous, the public infrastructure is not perfect, and the interaction space is less. The reflection level has some problems, such as less interaction between people, people and the environment in the block, and lack of street features.Based on this,we construct the emotionalized design principle of living street slow-walking space, and propose specific design strategies from the levels of sensory perception, functional experience and emotional communication respectively. On the basis of the research on universal strategies,a specific case practice study is conducted on the street space of Qingnian Road in Lianhu District,Xi ’an.In this study, the emotionalization theory was introduced into the renewal design of living street slow traffic space, aiming to form a design pattern oriented by users’ emotional needs, and provide more new optimization design patterns while providing quantitative reference for the design optimization of living street slow traffic space. It is expected to make efforts to improve the quality of urban slow walking space, ascribe life streets to the public, promote green travel, and create a beautiful and livable city. |
