| With the acceleration of urbanization, the construction of residential streets in China has gradually overlooked the dominant role of people, resulting in problems such as uneven spatial distribution, outdated infrastructure, and emotional deficiency. Therefore, exploring street renewal and emotional experience repair based on the concept of emotional design, and constructing a street space with a sense of belonging, identity, and intimacy,is of great significance for urban development. This thesis constructs an evaluation model for the spatial quality of residential streets from the perspective of emotional impact; And combined with on-site research and analysis to verify the rationality of the model, analyze and summarize the current situation of the street, and ultimately propose optimization strategies for residential streets and carry out design applications. The specific research content of this thesis is as following:(1)Based on previous literature research, analyze the functions, emotional influencing factors, and activity presentation methods of lifestyle streets, and sort out the emotional needs of pedestrians in lifestyle streets;Based on the research results of previous emotional design,an interdisciplinary translation analysis was completed from the theory of product emotional design to the field of lifestyle street space design. It was concluded that lifestyle street space design also has a progressive and in-depth logic of product emotional design, which is influenced by the explicit and implicit elements of lifestyle street space.(2)The literature review method and Delphi method were used to screen and optimize the indicators. From the perspective of experts and pedestrian needs, the evaluation model of living street space quality was constructed from the emotional perspective. The evaluation model was determined to be three criteria level indicators, eight sub criteria level indicators and 23 factor level indicators;Combining expert opinions, use AHP method to obtain the weights of each evaluation factor;Selecting23 indicators in the factor layer as adjective pairs for the SD method questionnaire, conducting a survey on street pedestrians and analyzing the questionnaire results; After weighted calculation and percentage conversion, the final score is obtained;Through on-site research, three typical residential streets in the urban area of Shijiazhuang, namely Minsheng Road,Bachang Street, and Meiji Street, were selected and evaluated using this model. The score was as follows: Minsheng Road>Meiji Street>Bachang Street;Based on on-site research and qualitative analysis, the evaluation results obtained are consistent with the actual environment of the street, verifying the rationality of the evaluation model for the spatial quality of residential streets from the perspective of sentiment.(3)Based on questionnaire data and field research, this thesis summarizes the current situation of birth active streets, explores the optimization concept of life oriented streets from an emotional perspective, and proposes optimization strategies for the instinctive, behavioral, and reflective levels of life oriented streets from an emotional perspective.Taking Bachang Street as an example, some strategies are applied for research, providing reference value for emotional design of living streets. |
