Research On The Evaluation And Optimization Design Of Street Landscape In Ancient Town Based On Method Of Semantic Differential ——Taking The Streets In The Landscape Protection Zone Of Sha Xi Ancient Town As An Example

Ancient towns,the legacy of traditional human settlements,carry rich historical and cultural information and imprints of old life under the changing times.Ancient towns are not antiques.The protection of ancient towns is active and dynamic.It also needs to adapt to the development of the times and continue to develop.The vigorous development of the current cultural tourism industry has driven the continuous improvement of the construction level of the ancient town,and the corresponding infrastructure and space environment should also be continuously optimized to adapt to the times.An important factor for activities,in the optimization of the streetscape of the ancient town,not only needs to meet the actual needs of the space,but also needs to pay more attention to the psychological perception and emotional needs of people on the streetscape.This paper studies the street landscape evaluation and optimization design of the ancient town,selects the street landscape of the Shaxi ancient town style protection area as the research object,and focuses on the material and spiritual needs of street users（local residents and tourists）as the breakthrough point.Establish a streetscape evaluation system,set the constituent elements of streetscape combined with their own attributes as streetscape evaluation factors,and formulate opposite adjective pairs for each evaluation factor to describe,then set the evaluation level to make a semantic difference scale.Psychological measurement of street landscape evaluation perception is carried out for street users in the form of questionnaires,combining subjective perception and object characteristics to obtain evaluation data,and to concretize and quantify people’s abstract psychological experience and emotional perception.Combined with the current situation of the street landscape,this paper rationally analyzes the shortcomings of the street landscape of the ancient town in the current development process.On the premise of protecting the traditional street pattern and historical features,the relevant theories of design and the experience of landscape design are used to propose targeted optimization strategies to guide the streets.Landscape optimization design practice,so as to improve the quality of street landscape and help the construction and development of ancient towns.
