| China is currently in the fast lane of "high-quality development," but there is a growing number of individuals who want to slow down their lives.They do not want to be numb to the fast-paced lifestyle and have a higher demand for self-experience.They pursue a natural,harmonious,and healthy state of living.The washroom space,as a private space for individuals in the fast-paced lifestyle,also serves as a space where people can establish a soulful connection with the environment.With the advancement of time,washroom products have undergone iterations,and people’s demands for such products have surpassed basic functionalities,extending to emotional and spiritual needs.However,existing research on washroom products mostly revolves around existing products and spatial structures,lacking an exploration of optimizing the essence of lifestyle to meet people’s emotional and spiritual needs.This topic focuses on the "slow life" group,from the perspective of user experience,studies the toilet method suitable for slow people,and finally outputs the toilet product design scheme and verification.First of all,the concept of "slow" population is put forward,and the main characteristics of "slow" population are summarized through the analysis of related concepts and research status,which is the basis for screening.After that,AIO scale was used to collect the results to analyze the lifestyle characteristics of the slow ethnic group,and to speculate the corresponding level of needs of the slow ethnic group,laying the groundwork for the analysis of design features.The second step is to build the research path of "slow family" product user experience product design.Observation,interview and questionnaire methods are used to investigate and analyze the status quo of toilet products used by the slow ethnic group,and problems arising from the use are summarized,from which the user experience dimension is extracted.AHP is used to analyze the importance of the problem,the problem is summarized from the key dimensions analyzed,and product design features are derived.Based on the above analysis of the life style and demand level of the slow ethnic group,it provides assistance for the style delineation of design features.Finally,starting from the optimization of life style,a new toiletry product is designed.According to the design characteristics,the toilet products suitable for slow people are designed in the preset environment,and the scheme is verified and optimized by user experience measurement.Qualitative and quantitative research methods are used in each step of this design study to provide as objective a research basis as possible.This study provides a clearer description of the characteristics of the slow-living population,breaks through established behavioral patterns,and proposes a new facial cleansing method for the slow-living population based on user experience theory and methods.Furthermore,a conceptual facial cleansing product is designed based on this new method,contributing theoretical value to the study of the slow-living population and user experience design.Additionally,it introduces a new concept for innovative design practices in washroom products. |
