Community commerce is an important support for improving the quality of life of residents.Under the impact of online life,the traditional community business has transformed from a relatively extensive business model to a function-intensive,multi-functional and experiential community business center.The format and space development of community commercial centers is a constantly changing process.How to make community commercial centers keep up with social development,achieve positive interaction with surrounding residents,and avoid blind design of building functions and space environment,it is necessary to explore evidence-based design ideas.This paper focuses on the post-use evaluation of the typical community commercial centers that have been put into use in Guangfo area,and studies the commercial formats that meet the actual needs of residents and the attractive factors of space vitality.Four typical cases were selected as research samples.Through interviews,online comment data analysis,questionnaires,and behavioral observations,the post-use evaluation information of residents on the building functions and space usage preferences and current status of community commercial centers was obtained,and the results were summarized to promote space vitality.and functional combinations and spatial patterns that fit the needs of use.The research results will help to grasp the new trend of the use demand of the community commercial center,balance the supply and demand relationship between functions and space,and meet the residents’ new demand for quality life.Firstly,this paper summarizes the business configuration,spatial characteristics and usage behavior characteristics of the completed community business centers through data research,and summarizes the case characteristics and referable experience at home and abroad by sorting out the project construction status at home and abroad.Then,the case samples were preliminarily investigated by means of free interviews,online review data,and pre-survey methods to find the entry point of the problem and conduct in-depth research.Based on the above pilot survey,the post-use evaluation questionnaire and behavior observation content are designed.Through the questionnaire survey of functional business requirements and spatial preference characteristics,combined with space-time behavior observation,the use characteristics of space vitality are analyzed.Finally,based on the previous quantitative and qualitative research results,it further summarizes the combination ratio of business forms,vertical and horizontal distribution rules and related design elements that promote space vitality,and verifies the design strategy by combining an investigation case.The study found that child-centered family groups are important target groups for activating the four community business centers,and their main purpose of coming here is to provide leisure social or educational services,and incidentally form a variety of consumption activities.In terms of business demand,the elderly most need libraries and outdoor activity venues,and their demand for health care is also high;young and middle-aged people most need sports and fitness facilities such as stadiums,gyms and other fitness venues;children’s needs are mainly concentrated in children’s training and entertainment.And it is necessary to add Chinese light meals and fast food to reduce the proportion of shopping and clothing.In terms of space vitality mode,outdoor plazas and commercial streets will have a good crowd gathering effect,and the vitality of sunken plazas has a greater relationship with the area of hard ground,the ratio of depth,the surrounding format,and the theme of space.The intensity of human flow is the most prominent in the indoor atrium space.The spatial composite relationship between the atrium space and shops can form a good anchor point for attracting human flow.
