Post Occupancy Evaluation Of External Space Of Harbin Cultural Center

With the continuous improvement of the spiritual and cultural needs of the urban public in China and the rapid development of urban public cultural facilities,it is not only full of opportunities,but also has many difficulties and challenges.Under the background that the traditional cultural facilities and most of the existing cultural public buildings can not meet the new cultural and living needs of the modern urban public,the urban cultural centers combine culture with urban public open space and urban green space,thus forming a complex structure.New types of cultural buildings with functional outer space are important nodes and symbols of cities that display local cultural features.The special climatic conditions of cold cities have an important influence on the construction of urban public space.At the same time,the external space of urban cultural center is one of the most important and emerging parts of urban public space.Post Occupancy Evaluation of the built external space of cultural center will help to further enhance urban public space.Inter-quality,to provide the urban public with high-quality social life and leisure places.Therefore,this study takes Harbin,a typical cold city in China,as the target city,and takes Harbin Cultural Center,which is well-known in Harbin and abroad,as the research object,from the environmental behavior characteristics of the active population and the user's post-occupancy satisfaction evaluation.The construction of the POE system of the cold city's cultural center is advanced,conduct in-depth research.The research observes the object of study and its external space through field investigation of environmental behavior characteristics,and conducts semi-structured interviews with the active population.At the same time,according to the qualitative analysis of interview records and related literature analysis,the evaluation factors which have greater impact on the external space of cultural center are extracted.Through the satisfaction evaluation questionnaire,the user's basic characteristics and subjective satisfaction scores were obtained,and five primary evaluation factors and 31 secondary evaluation factors were analyzed.Then,based on strong correlation analysis and factor analysis,the dissatisfaction was deeply explored,the optimization factors were determined.The results of the analysis are summarized into five aspects: spatial composition,environmental quality,transportation space,supporting facilities and transportation space.Optimize the strategy,solve the existing problems in the external space of Harbin Cultural Center,combine Harbin's unique climate and cultural factors,and design a realistic and practical external space optimization plan for Harbin Cultural Center,which will improve the quality of the external space of the cold city cultural center and the city.The improvement of the public space system provides theoretical basis and reference recommendations.This study combines the unique urban climate factors to improve the existing environmental quality of the cultural center's external space and stimulate urban public life.At the same time,through the introduction of environmental behavior,the evaluation system can supplement the existing research content of POE and optimize the shortcomings of POE.The evaluation results and the applied research methods are expected to guide the planning and design of the external spaces of the urban cultural centers in the later period.
