With the huge demand for steel in social production and the continuous progress of wire rod rolling technology and automation control technology,the wire rolling cycle is getting shorter and shorter,Enterprises have put forward higher requirements for the bundling efficiency of high-efficiency wire strapping,In order to meet the needs of customers,it is necessary to conduct design research on the existing high-efficiency wire strapping to improve the efficiency of baling.In this subject,in view of the low bundling efficiency of the original baler and the requirement of increasing the pressing force for multi-size coil bundling,the platen propulsion device was improved.Replace the original single long hydraulic cylinder drive mode through the combination of double link mechanism,rack and pinion mechanism and hydraulic cylinder,And to improve other supporting structures and design the hydraulic system.By studying the influence of negative load conditions on the improved high-efficiency wire strapping machine in the multi-circuit hydraulic system,it is hoped to avoid the existing negative load conditions from affecting the operation of the new system.In response to the above problems,this article first designed and studied the pressure plate propulsion system、base、pressure plate and other components of the strapping machine,and carried out the finite element strength analysis of the main stressed components,and then completed the dynamic simulation of the high-efficiency wire strapping machine,and then completed the hydraulic system of the strapping machine is designed,and the main hydraulic components are designed 、 calculated and selected.Finally,a co-simulation model of the strapping machine is established,and the performance of its mechanical system and hydraulic system is comprehensively analyzed based on the simulation results.The details are as follows:(1)According to the overall design requirements of the high-efficiency wire strapping machine,the three-dimensional modeling of each structure of the strapping machine was completed,and the finite element strength analysis and structural design of the main stressed components were carried out.(2)Based on the Matlab/Simscape Multibody module,the dynamic simulation of the high-efficiency wire strapping machine is completed,and the validity of the dynamic simulation is verified by the derivation of the theoretical calculation formula of the driving force of the lifting mechanism of the strapping machine.The inverse dynamics method is used to obtain the maximum driving force of each hydraulic cylinder of the strapping machine,which pave the way for the selection and calculation of hydraulic system components.(3)According to the working characteristics of the strapping machine and the design requirements of the overall plan,the hydraulic system design of the strapping machine was completed,and the main hydraulic components were designed and selected,laying a foundation for the setting and debugging of the hydraulic component parameters in the co-simulation.(4)Based on Matlab/Simscape software,a mechanical-hydraulic co-simulation model of the high-efficiency wire strapping machine is established,which solves the problem of negative load conditions in the multi-circuit hydraulic system of the strapping machine,and the hydraulic system is improved based on the analysis results.Studies have shown that: the design of the hydraulic system can make the descent process run smoothly,the back pressure of the lifting circuit with the pressure reducing valve is reduced,and the energy loss is reduced.
