| Steel products packaging is the final steps of steel production, the quality of itspackaging directly affects the maintaining of the quality of steel products. Presently,automatic strapping machines, the current domestic steel mills are using, mostly dependon imports, and the price is extremely expensive. Thus, to develop automatic strappingmachine of intellectual property rights is quite urgent, as it is one of the most importantmeans to improve the competitiveness of China’s steel industry. The present studyfocuses on the key technology and theory of the steel coil. This research is significantlyconducted in the following points.The thesis studies the lock body of coil binding machine. It suggests that aconvertible drive lock body just need a cylinder drive to complete lock molding, pressurestrip, lock, and cut off, so as to simplify the locking body structure. This paper uses thetheory of mechanism to analyze the convertible drive lock body. This paper applies CreoElements/Pro, the3D model software, to build up lock body model and analyses itsstructure. This paper also analyses the key components in FEA and strength calculation,using Pro/Mechanica module.This paper studies the conducting band mechanism of the binding machine. It usesvariable speed air motor driving the conducting band mechanism. It analyses the processof conveyor and pumping belt using sketch. Besides, it calculates compaction force of theconducting band mechanism to belt and driving force required in the process of the wheeldrive strip using the ANSYS LS-DYNA software.This paper analyses the control system of strapping machine. It designs the hardwarestructure and PLC program of the control system, based on the analysis of its work flowand the action of every actuator. Taking full account of the system’s resistance tointerference, the design completely ensures the anti-interference effect of the controlsystem.An experimental prototype of strapping machine has been successfully producedafter theoretical study and structural design. The correctness of theoretical design hasbeen verified through prototype. This paper successfully designed and developed asingle-drive bundling machine lock body and steel friction drive mechanism. In theprototype development process, a lot of valuable experimental data has been achieved,and reliable basis has been built for the future development of strip binding machine. |
