Research On The Distribution Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of The Street Vitality Of Quancheng Road In Jina

Urban street is the most important linear public space and the main component of urban texture.Street quality is the key link that affects urban quality.Driven by the concept of "people-oriented" planning,the reconstruction of humanized streets has become an important part of encouraging walking and promoting a healthy lifestyle,as well as an important embodiment of high-quality urban development.This thesis takes Quancheng Road in Jinan City as the research object.Firstly,the basic theories and research progress related to street vitality were reviewed,the concept and characterization of street vitality were clarified,and the existing researches were summarized from two aspects: spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and influencing factors of street vitality.Secondly,taking crowd density and activity diversity as the representation of street vitality,the vitality of each time period in autumn and winter,working day and non-working day was obtained through field investigation and on-site video,and its temporal and spatial distribution characteristics were summarized.Thirdly,17 possible influencing factors were initially selected and quantified from street elements,street surrounding elements and time elements,and the influencing factors of street crowd density and activity diversity were identified with the help of statistical analysis software SPSS.Finally,based on the influence factors of street vitality,the thesis puts forward suggestions on street vitality improvement of Quancheng Road.It is found that Quancheng Road has significant temporal and spatial characteristics in population density distribution and activity diversity distribution:The population density distribution of Quancheng Road in autumn and winter festival has the same characteristics and different characteristics.The same characteristics are as follows:(1)The change trend of street vitality in a day is roughly the same,and the difference of street vitality in the morning and evening is large;(2)The distribution pattern of street vitality is basically the same,the stronger the commercial building along the street,the higher the street vitality;(3)The activity of adjacent sections has mutual influence,and the influence degree is positively correlated with the activity intensity;(4)The vitality of non-working days is higher than that of working days.The different characteristics were as follows:(1)The street activity intensity was significantly different in different seasons,and the activity intensity was significantly different before and after the epidemic;(2)The peak time of street activity was different in different seasons,and the peak appeared earlier in winter.The stepwise multiple regression method identifies that the street’s own factors,the street’s surrounding factors and the time factors work together to effectively affect the crowd flow distribution in Quancheng Road.The activity diversity distribution of Quancheng Road also has the same and different characteristics in autumn and winter.There are three main characteristics of the same:(1)The spatial distribution of street vitality is roughly the same,and the vitality of different sections is greatly different;(2)Social stopping activities are common,and commercial stopping activities have the lowest frequency.(3)The activity of non-working days is higher than that of working days.There are two main characteristics:(1)There are obvious differences in activity intensity in different seasons,and the diversity density of activity in winter is higher;(2)The proportion of stay activities in the sections with high activity diversity is different,and the increase of art installations on the streets or squares can change the activity composition of the sections.In addition,the three types of stay behaviors,commercial watch,commercial stop and social stop,also have their own distribution characteristics.The study of influencing factors shows that street itself,street surrounding factors and time factors,a total of 8 influencing factors,can work together to effectively affect the temporal and spatial distribution of Quancheng Road street population density,while the occurrence and distribution of activity diversity is only affected by street itself factors and street surrounding factors,a total of 5 influencing factors.In the diversity of activities,the occurrence of commercial watching,commercial stopping and social stopping behaviors are all affected by different factors.Based on the identification results of influencing factors,this paper puts forward suggestions on the street vitality improvement of Quancheng Road from the aspects of street facilities,street interface and function composition.
