Research On The Characteristics And Influence Mechanism Of Street Vitality In Beijing Historical And Cultural Districts

Enhancing the vitality of historical blocks is an important means of revitalizing them,and clarifying the influencing factors is the foundation for enhancing the vitality of historical blocks.Taking the Guozijian Yonghe Palace Historical and Cultural District,Nanluogu Lane Historical and Cultural District,Beiluogu Lane Historical and Cultural District,Xianyukou Historical and Cultural District,Dashilan Historical and Cultural District,and Shichahai Historical and Cultural District as examples,the dynamic influencing factors of the working days and holidays in the district are analyzed,and their ways of action and general laws are explained.Firstly,based on urban network data such as Gaode Map POI,Dianping Points of Interest(POI),and Baidu Huiyan,a vitality evaluation system for historical street blocks is constructed;Secondly,the vitality characterization and potential vitality influencing factors of historical blocks are obtained through quantification,including location,public transport reachability,pedestrian reachability,historical resource attraction,function mix and other factors;Finally,multiple regression analysis was used to identify the factors influencing the vitality of six neighborhoods’ workdays and holidays.Based on the different dominant influencing factors of the six neighborhoods,we can divide them into four different driving types.The results indicate that: 1)Functional mix and commercial resources are the primary factors that attract visitors.2)Only a portion of historical resources are factors that attract tourists and urgently need to be improved.3)The six blocks can be divided into four driving types: the first type is a commercial attraction function mixed driving block,including the Xianyukou Historical and Cultural Block and the Dashilan Historical and Cultural Block;The second type is a district driven by a mixture of location and function,including the Guozijian Yonghe Palace Historical and Cultural District;The third category is location commercial attraction driven blocks,including the North Luogu Lane Historical and Cultural Block and the South Luogu Lane Historical and Cultural Block;The fourth type is a hybrid driven neighborhood,including the Shichahai Historical and Cultural District.4)The traffic flow value(intermediary degree)is the dominant influencing factor for the characteristics of the Shichahai Historical and Cultural District.5)The factors of public transport reachability,road proximity centrality(proximity)and traffic flow value(intermediary degree)have a weak impact on block vitality.6)The influence of various factors on workdays and rest days varies:the influence of location factors is generally greater on workdays than on rest days;The factors of commercial attractiveness and functional mix generally affect rest days more than work days;The influence of traffic flow value(intermediary degree)and historical resource attractiveness factors on rest days is greater than that on working days.Explore the thermal differentiation characteristics of historical and cultural blocks,and provide opinions and suggestions for maintaining the vitality of the blocks and achieving sustainable development.[1] This article proposes strategies for enhancing the vitality of urban streets: 1.Protecting and restoring historical and cultural block
