Comparative Study On Influencing Factors And Influencing Mechanism Of Street Vitality In New And Old City

Urban streets are an important part of urban public space,and they are places where people first impress.In the high-speed development stage of cities in China,the demand for street traffic functions and the prevalence of motor vehicles have prompted street planning to focus on the “car-based” space design,to split the city texture,and to ignore the pedestrian walking experience.The theme of the street has gradually attracted attention.Multi-perspective understanding of street vitality is of great significance to improving the quality of urban public space and the quality of life of residents.Therefore,in the context of the era of big data,this article reinterprets street vitality from the perspective of data analysis and perception experience,and explores the mechanism of street vitality in order to provide a scientific basis for improving street vitality.This article first establishes a "human-centered" research perspective,clarifies the definition of street vitality,and builds a street vitality index system from the external representation and internal composition of street vitality.Second,establish a basic street vitality database that covers urban road network data,mobile phone positioning data,and POI data,and conduct quantitative evaluation and comparative analysis of street vitality.In the street vitality evaluation,the basic data is used to evaluate the street vitality of the old and new urban areas of Hengyang from the time and space levels.The time level examines the pedestrian activity in different periods and the space level examines the pedestrian activity in different areas.The research on the mechanism of street vitality is based on quantitative evaluation.Through a linear analysis of the external characteristics and internal components of vitality,the influencing factors with a high degree of fit are screened out.Combined with the street cases in the old and new urban areas,the quantitative research and perception experience Make a comparative analysis at different levels,and explore the mechanism of influence factors on street vitality.Finally,based on the space characteristics of new and old urban streets and the influential factors of vitality,this paper puts forward suggestions for street space optimization and vitality promotion strategies of new and old urban areas in Hengyang City,and carries out reconstruction design.Research conclusions: In terms of the external characterization of street vitality,the street vitality in the old and new urban areas of Hengyang has differences in the spatial and temporal characteristics of workdays and holidays;in terms of the internal composition of street vitality,street building density,traffic accessibility,and street functional density contribute the most to street vitality,Is the main factor affecting the street vitality in Hengyang City;different types of influence factors have different mechanisms of street vitality.
