In recent years,the construction of video surveillance projects has become increasingly important with the continuous progress of different kinds of constructions such as Smart City,Skynet Project and Xueliang Project.Formulating schedules scientifically,optimizing process activities,reducing resource conflicts,improving implementation efficiency,and ensuring project delivery on schedule has become an important issue to be urgently resolved in the construction of video surveillance projects.Based on the critical chain technology,this thesis relies studies the project schedule management method,takes the video surveillance engineering project of D company as the research object,discusses the schedule optimization scheme under resource constraints,combined with the characteristics of tight project schedule,lack of resources,and difficult management.In the process of research,it determines the key chain by identifying the“bottleneck” resources of the project,introduces the elastic coefficient method to calculate the buffer zone,and improves the calculation of the impact factor.It constructs a video surveillance project of D company based on the analytic hierarchy process,then optimizes and improves the schedule again.Meanwhile,it uses Monte Carlo simulation method to simulate the completion probability of the project schedule.Finally,based on the three-color monitoring method,the project progress and buffer consumption trend chart is constructed to monitor and manage each buffer of the project.On the basis of the case analysis and simulation results,the critical chain technology can effectively deal with the problem of project M’s construction period delay,so that providing project managers with a more scientific decision-making basis and data reference,also offering new research perspectives and reference for the schedule management of video surveillance projects.
