The issue of climate change caused by greenhouse gas emissions has become a common global problem.Reducing carbon dioxide emissions is a global consensus and a necessary measure to achieve sustainable development.Residential areas are where urban residents live and are an important part of the city.As the amount of construction continues to increase and the number of residential areas continues to increase,the carbon emissions generated by them are also increasing year by year.Among them,the old residential areas were built earlier,and energy-saving standards and energy-saving methods are relatively backward.Both indoor thermal insulation and energy consumption of facilities are not ideal,which virtually increases carbon emissions.At the same time,due to the aging housing conditions and poor residential environment,the old residential areas are difficult to adapt to the needs of modern life.They are facing the problem of renewal and transformation.During the renewal process,they need to go through a series of carbon emissions such as material selection,transportation and construction,and building materials processing.project.This article takes Tianjin’s old residential areas as an example to discuss how to reduce carbon emissions during the renewal of old residential areas and how to form an energy-saving,environmentally friendly,low-carbon residential environment through renewal.The research in this article mainly includes the following parts.The first part is the basic research part.It sorts out the domestic and foreign related research including the renewal of old settlements,the impact mechanism of residential carbon emissions,and carbon emission accounting methods.The case summarizes the relevant experience and technology of low-carbon renewal.The second part is the problem research part.By combing through the development process of Tianjin’s old settlements and the construction characteristics of each stage,it summarizes the carbon emission characteristics of the settlements under different residential spaces,different materials and different construction concepts.Analyze the existing high-carbon issues under the existing renewal strategies and the carbon emission reduction potential of various renewal methods,and classify the lowcarbon issues in priority and difficulty.The third part is the carbon emission model construction and accounting part.It selects typical old settlements in Tianjin and builds a carbon emission model during the renewal process.Through carbon emission simulation and accounting,the main factors affecting the renewal of old settlements are determined and analyzed.Correlation.The fourth part is the strategy proposal part.Through the above carbon emission accounting and impact factor analysis,it is proposed how to optimize the existing renewal strategy and how to apply the new renewal strategy to realize the low-carbon renewal of the residential area.
