Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,as the problem of global warming becomes more and more serious, countries around the world have introduced a series of emission reduction measures, striving to achieve the goal of zero carbon dioxide emissions by the early 1950 s.In order to achieve this goal, the shipping industry, which undertakes the main transportation task, will also face severe emission reduction problems.China,as a trading and shipping power, should play its due role in the emission reduction challenge. The shipbuilding industry,a major energy consumer in China, should also rapidly decarbonize to help China achieve its "dual carbon" goal. However, because ship construction involves many links and complex processes, and the corresponding energy consumption is difficult to be divided, the carbon emission accounting of ship manufacturing industry is still relatively difficult at present.Based on this, according to the characteristics of ship construction, this study constructs the carbon emission accounting system in the ship construction stage, conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis on the carbon emissions in the ship construction process, and deeply and perfectly discusses the sources and improvement direction of carbon emissions in the shipbuilding industry.Firstly, after analyzing the ship construction process, the ship construction process is divided into six stages according to the main nodes: steel pretreatment, hull section production, outfitting processing and installation, berth(dock)closing, dock outfitting and trial ship delivery. The carbon emission accounting system of ship construction process is proposed and the accounting method is determined.Secondly, the carbon emission accounting scope and carbon emission sources of each stage of ship construction are determined based on the relevant domestic and foreign carbon emission standards. Each construction stage is taken as the unit to construct the corresponding carbon emission accounting model, and the bulk carrier of CX Shipyard is selected as the case ship to calculate the carbon emission and total carbon emission of the ship in each stage of the construction process.Thirdly, the carbon emissions and composition characteristics of each stage of ship construction are analyzed, and the main influencing factors affecting the carbon emissions of ship construction are identified. The research results show that the carbon emissions in the six stages of steel pretreatment, hull section production, outfitting processing, assembling and matching, installation, berth(dock)closing, outfitting on board, and trial ship delivery account for 12.42%,66.45%,10.60%,7.75%,1.70% and 1.08% respectively in the whole ship construction process.Among them, carbon emissions caused by steel, purchased electricity, air compression, natural gas, diesel and other energy consumption accounted for 10.47%,9.21%,76.27%,2.69%and 1.37%,respectively.Finally,according to the proportion of carbon emissions in the whole construction process, the carbon emission reduction strategy of ship construction is proposed from two levels of enterprise and government.
