Study On The Optimization Strategy Of Slow Travel Space In Urban Core Area

As China’s urban construction enters the stage of "people-oriented" concept,urban transportation takes sustainable development as the basic guidance,constructs a transportation system dominated by green transportation,and pays attention to meeting people’s requirements for travel environment and quality.As the area with the most active population flow,the urban core area,on the one hand,has gathered public service facilities and intensive socio-economic activities,which has a strong travel attraction.On the other hand,the road traffic network is dense,the total amount of traffic travel is high in the morning,middle and evening peak hours,the road traffic pressure is high,and the parking demand is high,which has a great impact on the travel environment.As a new first tier city,Suzhou has a high level of urban development.Under the background of low-carbon and high-quality green transportation development strategy,Suzhou will build a "public transportation + slow traffic" transportation system with rail transit as the core,establish the dominant position of slow traffic in the city,and appropriately regulate motor vehicle traffic.As the center of Suzhou,Shi shan District of Suzhou is connected with the ancient city of Suzhou.The importance of slow traffic is becoming increasingly prominent,and the construction of slow traffic space has been paid more and more attention.Therefore,this paper focuses on analyzing the characteristics of slow travel space in urban core area,and based on the actual problems,this paper studies the optimization strategy of slow travel space in Shi shan area of Suzhou.This paper first defines the related concepts of slow motion space,and then summarizes the related theories and Research on slow motion space at home and abroad.Secondly,it studies the characteristics of urban core area and slow traffic space,summarizes and analyzes the characteristics of slow traffic space in urban core area,and constructs the analysis framework of slow traffic space in urban core area.Thirdly,based on the investigation of the current situation of the slow traffic space in Shishan District of Suzhou,this paper analyzes the existing problems from the four aspects of the slow traffic network,traffic space,supporting facilities and landscape environment.Finally,make clear the safe,convenient and comfortable slow space optimization objectives,and put forward specific optimization strategies for the current problems.
