| In recent years,with the development of the world economic globalization and the emergence of the financial crisis,governments of all countries have paid more and more attention to the development of the real economy.As the pillar of the real economy,how to maintain sustainable development and competitive advantage in the face of many challenges has become the core issue of enterprise research.As an effective innovation mode,business model innovation can help enterprises gain competitive advantages and is gradually recognized by enterprises.Therefore,more and more enterprises are transforming their business models to meet the needs of industrial upgrading and development.However,does the enterprise carry out business model innovation? How to innovate? These problems have not been solved.As the decision-maker of enterprise information,the executive team takes what cognitive processing system to make decisions in the face of many events and problems,and what factors drive the executive team,which is worth studying.Through reviewing and combing the domestic and foreign literatures,combining the existing dual processing theory and business model,this research focuses on the issue of "how the two cognitive processing systems affect the business model innovation of enterprises",deeply discusses the functional mechanism of the heuristic processing system and the analytical processing system,the factors that drive the decision-making logic of the top management team,and clarifies the evolution process of the business model innovation of the incumbent enterprises.First of all,it summarizes the domestic and foreign literature such as high-order theory and business model innovation theory,and then combs the relevant theoretical literature,.Secondly,the research design was carried out,and the theoretical model of "antecedent(internal and external factors)-process(cognitive processing of senior management team)-result(business model innovation)" was initially proposed.Then,through a single case longitudinal study,the senior management team was interviewed,data coding,and the theoretical framework was improved.Finally,it analyzes the industry environment,problems and existing business models of incumbent enterprises,and puts forward business model innovation plans and implementation strategies.According to the effective case analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:first,the business model evolution of incumbent enterprises has gone through three stages: Exploration and development stage,rapid growth stage and strategic forward-looking stage,and gradually realized the process from changing business model innovation to adjusting business model innovation,and then to improving business model innovation.Second,there is a competitive control relationship between the heuristic processing system and the analytical processing system.When the senior management team faces a major decision,it makes a decision with the heuristic processing system first and then makes a rational adjustment with the analytical processing system.Third,the external factor that drives the logical transformation of decision-making in different stages of enterprise business model innovation is the volatility of the environment.When the volatility of the environment is high,managers use heuristic processing system to make decisions;When the environmental turbulence is low,the analytical processing system is used for decision-making.Fourth,the internal factors driving the decision-making logic transformation in the stage of business model innovation are the motivation.When the motivation is strong,the analytical processing system is used,and when the motivation is weak,the heuristic processing system is used.Finally,according to the relevant conclusions of the study,the management enlightenment of business model innovation for enterprises is drawn,and the limitations of research design and data collection are described,as well as the contents to be studied in the future. |
