Under the background that the Chinese government actively promulgates favorable policies to encourage the development of the construction industry,the business activities of construction enterprises have gained new opportunities.The scientific supplier management system can enable construction enterprises to obtain more excellent suppliers’ support in their business activities,ensure the efficiency of material supply required by construction business activities,and achieve the compliance standard of material quality.The positive effect of high-quality suppliers on the operation and development of construction enterprises can not be replaced.At present,many construction enterprise managers have paid more attention to supplier management,improved the professionalism and independence of supplier management through perfect supplier management organizations,sought high-quality suppliers in the market,and established good cooperative relations with suppliers.This has a more obvious positive effect on the sustainable operation and development of construction enterprises,J construction company pays more attention to supplier management,but there are still some deficiencies in supplier management.The supplier management activities depend on the procurement department.An independent supplier management organization has not yet been formed.The setting of supplier access conditions is vague,the classification standards are not refined enough,and there is no perfect supplier performance management system to encourage and evaluate suppliers,J construction company needs to comprehensively analyze the existing supplier management problems according to the supplier management needs,optimize the supplier management measures,and meet the supplier management needs of J construction company.In order to obtain first-hand data on J Construction Company’s supplier management problems,this paper comprehensively combs the supplier management problems through interviews with J Construction Company’s suppliers and grass-roots staff and managers in the procurement department.Through designing the interview outline,implementing the interview work,and summarizing the interview results,we understand the shortcomings of J Construction Company’s supplier management and the corresponding optimization direction.This study found that the scientific development of supplier management can enable J Construction Company to have more excellent suppliers to support its business activities,reduce the cost of materials,and improve the quality.J Construction Company’s core position in the entire supply chain has been further highlighted.J Construction Company’s managers pay more attention to supplier management,with a large number of suppliers and rich types.Based on the interview results,there are many problems in the supplier management of J Construction Company at present,including the poor professionalism of the supplier management organization,unscientific selection of supplier development access,confused supplier classification management system,and incomplete supplier performance evaluation and incentive.These problems make it difficult for J Construction Company to form a good cooperative relationship with suppliers,and reduce the professionalism and independence of supplier management,It hinders the business activities of J Construction Company.This paper puts forward the optimization strategy of J Construction Company’s supplier management,including creating a professional independent management organization,improving the evaluation of development access,strengthening supplier classification management,optimizing supplier performance management,and making J Construction Company’s supplier management system more perfect.In order to ensure the optimization effect,this paper also proposes the guarantee measures for J Construction Company’s supplier management optimization,including system guarantee,communication guarantee and cultural guarantee,so as to make J Construction Company’s supplier management system more perfect.Based on the research results of this paper,J Construction Company can timely rectify the existing problems in supplier management,adjust and optimize the supplier management system,further integrate supplier resources,and obtain competitive material resources through more high-quality suppliers;The classification of suppliers is more clear.Different types of suppliers adopt different management methods to improve management efficiency;Pay attention to supplier performance evaluation,form a perfect supplier incentive system,and enable J Construction Company to better participate in market competition with the help of superior supplier resources.Therefore,the research results in this paper are of practical significance for J Construction Company.Different construction enterprises have different supplier resources,supplier management status,needs,problems and specific improvement directions.The research results on supplier management of J Construction Company in this paper can guide the supplier management of other construction enterprises and make the supplier management system of the construction industry continuously optimized and improved. |
