Research On The Water Ecological Wisdom Of The Traditional Villages With Pond In Southeast Shanxi

The Southeast Shanxi region is home to many National Register of Historically and Famous Towns and Villages of China and traditional Chinese villages,which have suffered from severe water poverty since ancient times due to unique geological conditions and uneven rainfall.For thousands of years,under the nourishment of traditional farming culture,the wisdom of constructing unique human settlement environment has endowed the ancient village with long-term vitality.Therefore,this paper will focus on the unique "man-water-village" ecosystem formed by the traditional villages with Pond in Southeast Shanxi.Based on the analysis of the relationship between settlement and waterlogging pond system,the water ecological wisdom contained in the traditional villages with pond of this area is summarized.First,focusing on the waterlogging pond system itself.Based on historical documents and a large number of field investigations,the paper combs the basic composition of the traditional waterlogging pond system and the main types of distribution in settlements,reveals the operation principle of a series of technical measures of "diversion purification storage drainage extraction" of the system,and further reveals the ecological adaptability of the traditional waterlogging pond system by comprehensively considering various factors such as climate,topography and geology;Secondly,discussing how to obtain water resources from the settlement scale.By studying the influence of waterlogging pond system on the site selection,spatial allocation and street pattern of settlements,then the paper discusses how to realize the quality and quantity of water collection through the spatial layout of settlements with typical cases,and summarizes the strategies of the spatial layout of traditional waterlogging pond villages;Furthermore,the paper discusses how to make efficient use of water resources in settlements from the site scale.Based on the public space of traditional waterlogged pond settlement,this paper studies the influence of waterlogged pond system on the public space of settlement,discusses the function and layout of public space with typical cases,and summarizes the strategy of public space layout of traditional waterlogged pond settlement;Finally,based on the water environment construction strategy of traditional waterlogged pond villages discussed above,this paper summarizes the human water symbiosis wisdom of traditional waterlogged pond villages in Southeast Shanxi,and puts forward the protection and application of traditional waterlogged pond villages from the perspective of living protection.Through the management and protection of water resources boundaries,it maintains the cultural connotation and ecological wisdom in the construction of villages from the spiritual and material aspects,and provides new ideas for the construction of regional traditional villages and towns.
