| In the context of global climate problems and increasing heat island effect, lowcarbon development has become the call of The Times. The acceleration of China’s urbanization process promotes the continuous expansion of China’s urban population and the accelerated development of industrial clusters, making energy consumption and carbon emissions continue to rise, and the problem of high carbon emissions in cities is increasingly prominent.Community, especially high-density community,is the main component of a city.Community-based carbon emission research is of great significance to the construction of low-carbon cities and the promotion of low-carbon life. However, the research on community low-carbon construction in China started late, which is not comprehensive enough and seldom focuses on community subjects.Based on the above background, this study will take high-density communities in Beijing as the research object and residents’ living needs as the starting point.Through interviews, field research,non-participatory observation and other means, this study will analyze the characteristics and influencing factors of carbon emissions of residents in high-density communities. It is expected to provide some reference for low-carbon construction of high-density communities.Firstly,it is clear that the life of residents in high-density residential communities is the subject of this study, and the focus of this study is determined by sorting out relevant research at home and abroad.Second, carbon emissions on residents of ba sic research, combing the connotation and characteristics of the high density residential community in Beijing, and explained the relationship between residents and carbon emissions,at the same time, made clear Beijing residents life connotation and composition of carbon emissions, carbon emissions including family life determine residents carbon emissions and private cars two parts; Then, taking Shijingshan as an example,a survey was conducted on the existing communities in the research area, and the survey methods, content and data processing of the sample communities were explained. In addition, five sample communities were selected as examples to collect and sort out residents’ living energy consumption data objectively and understand residents’ living characteristics. On the basis of the above research, the paper defines the research framework for the characteristics of residents’ living carbon emissions.Based on the four aspects of household differences, time series differences, energy types and sample differences, the paper conducts in-depth analysis on the characteristics of residents’ living carbon emissions in sample communities, determines the characteristics of residents’ living carbon emissions, and extracts relevant influencing factors by analyzing the reasons influencing the characteristics of residents’ living carbon emissions. The relationship between related influencing factors and carbon emission of residents was analyzed,it is proved that the demand and activity characteristics of the main population in the community are the root of the carbon emission of residents’ life, and the community conditions are the media affecting the carbon emission of residents’ life. Finally, based on the characteristics of community carbon emissions and the extracted influencing factors, this paper proposes carbon reduction strategies for residents living in high-density residential communities in Beijing from four perspectives: energy consumption, supporting facilities, spatial layout and behavior guidance.According to the research on the characteristics of residents’ living carbon emissions in high-density communities, the results show that: high-density communities are conducive to reducing residents’ living carbon emissions,in which the social attributes and characteristics of high-density communities have a direct relationship with residents’ living carbon emissions, while the family types of highdensity communities have a greater impact on residents’ living carbon emissions. At the community level, the carbon emissions of unit communities and older communities are lower; From the perspective of households, families with minors, families with both children and parents working, and families with private cars are high carbon emission households.Retired families, unmarried and not pregnant young families, large scale families and shared rent families are more low-carbon households. From the perspective of the trajectory of residents’ activities, household life is the main source of carbon emissions, accounting for about 70% of the total carbon emissions of residents, but the "efficiency" of carbon emissions generated by commuting activities is higher. From the perspective of energy consumption, electric energy and gasoline are the main sources of carbon emissions of residents, accounting for about 70% of the total carbon emissions of residents. With the change of residents’ living demands and behavior patterns, residents’ demand for electric energy and gasoline keeps increasing, especially the consumption of electric energy grows fastest. |
