Research On Influencing Factors Of Choosing The Low-Carbon Trip Mode Of Urban Residents

With the rapid increase of greenhouse gas emission and energy consumption, humanity has been facing a dual crisis of energy shortage and deteriorating living environment. Devoting great efforts to develop low-carbon economy has gradually reached a consensus throughout the world and it has achieved good results. Only the transport sector’s carbon emissions has always been high and shown a growth trend year by year. For our country, with the rapid development of the national economy and the accelerating process of urbanization, large urban trips structure has changed: residents travel’s too much high-carbon transport, ignoring the low-carbon social environment and environmental protection, which has been bound to affect the quality of life and physical health of the residents. Therefore, in order to achieve "low-carbon trip mode" and restore a healthy living environment, study on the influential factors of low-carbon trip mode is necessary.The paper started from the low-carbon travel characteristics of urban residents, with reference to the various factors affecting the choices of residents trip mode and the methods of the theory of mathematical statistics, and then explored the important influential factors of urban low-carbon trip mode and developed the foundation for low carbon transport travel policy. The paper first proposed the main study problem: low-carbon trip mode choice of urban residents and its influential factors; collated the existing study both domestic and abroad on the basis of the use of literature analysis methods to identify the study of low-carbon trip mode characteristics and other influences; put forward the hypothesis; built low carbon trip mode influential factors conceptual model of urban residents. Finally, took Guangzhou as an example, the paper studied the residents in low-carbon way to travel practice, verified the influencing factors, and made improvement measures.The paper from the low-carbon perspective, has studied the low carbon trip mode factors of urban residents. The results of the analysis theory, methods, content, steps can provide a reference for the traffic managers and decision-makers and lay the foundation for the real implementation of the "low-carbon travel". It has a certain reference value and guiding significance.
