Since China’s reform and opening up,China has entered into a social and economic transformation and spatial resetting period.The job-housing balance in the period of housing distribution system is broken gradually,and the “pendulum-like”traffic gets heavier day by day.As a result,job-housing separation,air pollution,residents’ happiness decline,and many other problems were caused and were paid much attention by the fields of city planning,geography,sociology,etc.In recent years,the urbanization process of Nanchang city has promoted the continuous development of urban functions and scale,at the same time it is also suffering tidal traffic,long commute,air pollution and other problems caused by job-housing separation.Under the circumstances,this paper took job-housing spatial relationship of Nanchang residents as the breakthrough point,studied Nanchang residents’ job-housing space mismatch,commuter behavior characteristics and the influencing factors by mathematical statistics and spatial analysis methods,so as to explore the Internal development mechanism of job-housing separation,and to seek the key balance point of Nanchang residents,traffic,and the land.Results of the research:(1)Generally speaking,the job-housing self-sufficiency in Nanchang city is characterized by "collapse of peripheral area",which first decaying and then rising from the inside out.The modes of commuting are mainly internal commuting,followed by inward cross-district commuting and reverse cross-district commuting.(2)Residents’ commuting is mainly by electric vehicles,bicycles and walking,followed by private motor vehicles.The proportion of people commuting distance is distributed in the long-tail pattern,and the average commuting time is lower than that of other big cities.The employment points of the residents in the neighborhood near the subway stations are significantly distributed along the subway lines,and the increase of the possibility of taking the subway will weaken the probability of traveling by bus.The employment flow of residents in the residential areas far away from the subway stations presents the radiation characteristics in the surrounding areas.The residents mainly travel with slow traffic,with a high probability of working nearby,and weak migration ability.(3)job-housing balance is to ensure the balance between agglomeration economy and commuting time costwithin a reasonable job-housing space distance under the premise of free choice in the labor market.The spatial structure of double centers in Nanchang city is obvious,which is better than that of single center cities.However,the equalization degree of facilities in some areas should be improved.The effect of land use mix degree on the job-housing balance is positive,and the effect on low-income groups is more significant.Urban traffic congestion produces a large amount of excess commutes,exacerbating the degree of separation.The land rent with too large grade difference is likely to lead to residential isolation,which is not conducive to the healthy development of the job-housing balance of low-income groups.(4)The residents with low level of employment and limited economic capacity tend to find jobs within a short distance from the center of residence due to their weak migration ability,and their job-housing balance is relatively high.Residents with higher levels of employment and certain economic ability are relatively prominent in their ability to freely choose jobs.They mainly choose jobs to obtain higher salary returns and better improve their own skills,and the degree of job-housing separation is relatively high.(5)according to current situation of job-housing separation in Nanchang,We should take active measures to strengthen multi-center mixed land construction,improve the spatial balance of resource elements,lay equal emphasis on the construction and management of road traffic,give priority to the development of public transport,strengthen the real estate market regulation,adjust the housing supply structure,scientifically select the affordable housing and other measures to guide the working residents to live nearby,and improve commuting efficiency to reduce time costs. |
