In the new era,China's urbanization process has gone from incremental expansion to stock optimization, and the renewal and governance of old communities are highly valued by the central and local governments. In the process of rapid urbanization, migrant population and urban low-income population pour into inner cities for survival, and a large number of informal economy, generated in the process of labor transfer, also enters old communities. Therefore, the spatial governance of informal economy is bound to become an important part of the renewal and governance of old communities.Understanding the spatial distribution characteristics and micro-site selection logic of informal economic activities is the basis for managing informal economic activities effectively. This paper takes mobile street vendors and illegal shops, two typical informal economic activities,as the research object, and studies the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of informal economy in old communities by integrating Internet data and traditional artificial data. The thesis is divided into four parts.Firstly, taking the old community of wuchang ancient city as the research area, this paper summarizes the identification methods of illegal shops from the practical operation level, and explains the collection and collation of informal economic activities and related data.Secondly, summarizing the spatial characteristics of the informal economy in the study area from the four aspects of the overall distribution situation of the informal economy, the characteristics of the cluster, the spatial distribution and the laws of the space-time trajectory,so as to provide prior knowledge for the study of its influencing factors.Thirdly,by integrating multi-source data and constructing Lasso regression,Logistic regression models from the perspectives of macro layout and micro site selection, the spatial site selection logic of informal economy is obtained. Finally, based on the research results, some simple Suggestions are given for the spatial governance of informal economy in old communities.
