Research On The Impacte Of Economic Agglomeration On The Efficiency Of Green Economy In China

With the rapid development of the world economy in recent years,the problem of environmental pollution has become more and more severe,and global economic development faces the constraints of environmental contamination.In order to balance the relationship between economic development and the protection of the environment,the Chinese government has put forward a Chinese approach: practicing green development.Green development is an economic growth mode with the goal of efficiency,harmony and sustainability,and comprehensive consideration of environmental protection and resource conservation.The Spring and Autumn Annals said: "If you fish with all your might,won’t you get it? There will be no fish next year;if you burn the nest and the field,won’t you get it? And there will be no animals next year." Green development is the development concept that China must implement in its future economic development.It is not only an effective means to deal with global climate change and environmental degradation,but also an important way to promote economic growth and improve people’s living standards.In the context of green development research,this paper uses the SBM super efficiency model to measure green economic efficiency as an evaluation index for green development,and employs the model of coupling coordination to measure regional economic agglomeration.Based on the panel data of 282 prefecture-level cities in the country from 2004 to 2019,this paper uses the dual fixed effect model,the intermediary effect model,and the two-stage least squares method for quantitative analysis,Build a theoretical analysis framework of regional economic agglomeration and green economic efficiency,and explore the relationship and mechanism between economic agglomeration and green economic efficiency.In this regard,this paper puts forward the following policy recommendations:(1)Economic development should consider environmental constraints,and green development is the development concept that China’s future economic development must implement.(2)Pay attention to the development of super-large cities and avoid urban congestion due to excessive agglomeration.(3)The eastern,central and western regions are in different stages of economic agglomeration,and targeted differentiated development strategies should be adopted.
