As a knowledge,technology,and capital intensive industry,high-tech industry has become a priority development direction for many countries in the world due to its high added value and high driving force.At the same time,high-tech industry has great advantages in improving resource utilization,and is an important starting point for green development.As the main mode of high-tech industry development,which plays an important role in promoting the development of high-tech industry.Based on the above background,this paper takes the impact of high-tech industrial agglomeration on green economic efficiency as the research object.Firstly,this paper systematically combs the literature and analyzes the impact mechanism based on industrial agglomeration theory,sustainable development theory,circular economy theory and ecological economy theory;Then,based on the relevant data of 30 provinces and cities in China(excluding Tibet)from 2010 to 2020,measure high-tech industrial agglomeration in different regions,and the super-efficiency SBM-DEA model is used to measure the green economic efficiency in different regions of China.Finally,the spatial econometric model is used for empirical analysis.The results are as follows:The study found that in the level of high-tech industry agglomeration,from the national level,Beijing,Shanghai,Jiangsu,Guangdong and other provinces have a higher level of agglomeration.From the regional level,the level of high-tech industry agglomeration in the eastern region is much higher than that in the central and western regions,and the central region is slightly higher than that in the western region.In terms of green economic efficiency,from a national perspective,China’s green economic efficiency value is at a medium level,and there is still room for improvement.Among them,Beijing,Shanghai,Tianjin,Guangdong and Jiangsu have higher green economic efficiency values.From the regional level,the green economic efficiency of the eastern region is still higher than that of other regions,the central region and the northeast region are not much different,and the western region is slightly worse.In the empirical analysis part,the research found that the green economic efficiency has a positive spillover effect,and the impact coefficient is 0.181;High-tech industry cluster will also have a positive impact on the green economic efficiency in the region,with the impact coefficient of 0.567,indicating that the green economic efficiency of the region will increase by 0.567% if the level of high-tech industry cluster is increased by 1%.At the same time,high-tech industry cluster will also have a positive impact on the green economic efficiency of the surrounding areas;In addition,this paper also calculates the impact of industrial structure,environmental regulation,foreign direct investment level and urbanization level on green economic efficiency.Industrial structure and environmental regulation have a positive impact on green economic efficiency,while foreign direct investment and urbanization level have a negative impact on green economic efficiency.Based on the above theoretical and empirical research,this paper puts forward the following suggestions in the hope of promoting high-tech industrial agglomeration and improving the efficiency of green economy: promoting the exchange and cooperation of talents and technologies in different regions;Promote the coordinated development of high-tech industries among regions;Optimize the industrial structure and change the mode of development;Create a high-quality development environment.
