Research On Women’s Lantern Festival Costumes In Ming Dynasty From The Perspective Of Folklore

At the age of the folk custom,people like to dress up with the corresponding clothes,and to foil the festival atmosphere.Until the Ming Dynasty,the costume reflected in the festival connotation is particularly prominent.Compared with other traditional festivals,the Lantern Festival is a carnival and lively festival.The Lantern Festival in all dynasties had a certain holiday,and the Ming Dynasty even lasted for ten days,which was the longest holiday in ancient China.This topic is mainly based on the folk culture and festival culture of the Ming Dynasty as the theoretical basis,taking the costumes worn by women in the Lantern Festival of the Ming Dynasty as the main research object,integrating the knowledge of history,archaeology,folk custom,art and other disciplines,referring to historical records,historical images and other materials,combined with unearthed materials such as costumes,fabrics and other historical materials to explore the costume shape and system of the Lantern Festival in the Ming Dynasty.This paper summarizes and analyzes its historical characteristics and artistic expression forms,puts the Ming Dynasty women’s festival custom dress under the social background at that time,analyzes the influencing factors of the Ming Dynasty women’s Lantern Festival dress,explores the historical origin of its formation,and finally combines the shape,structure and constituent elements of the Ming Dynasty Lantern Festival women’s dress,and applies the theoretical research of the subject into practice.This paper summarizes the enlightenment significance of the Lantern Festival costume for women in Ming Dynasty to the contemporary costume design.The thesis is mainly divided into six aspects.The first part,combined with the research background and significance of the Lantern Festival costume for women in the Ming Dynasty,sorts out the research status quo of this subject,raises questions about the shortcomings of the research status quo,and develops relevant research methods and research objectives.The second part,the development of the Lantern Festival is summarized and sorted out.Explore related activities in the Lantern Festival custom of women in the Ming Dynasty,and sort out the connotation and characteristics of Lantern Festival costumes in the Ming Dynasty.The third part,combined with images,historical records and unearthed costumes,summarizes the external shape and internal system of Lantern Festival costumes in the Ming Dynasty.The fourth part analyzes and discusses the composition elements and artistic features of the Lantern Festival costume of the Ming Dynasty.The fifth part,combined with the previous analysis of Ming Dynasty women Yuanxiao dress influence factors and historical origin.The sixth part applies the historical characteristics and artistic expression forms of the Lantern Festival costumes of women in Ming Dynasty to the design of modern women’s wear.
