Study On Satisfaction Of Rural Toilet Reform Based On Farmers’ Perspective

The transformation of rural toilets is an important part of the construction of healthy rural areas in China’s vast rural areas.This work aims to build harmless sanitary toilets in the vast rural areas,discharge the waste from the toilets after harmless treatment,effectively prevent the spread and spread of pathogens in the waste,promote the improvement of the health level of the people in rural areas in China,and create a livable living environment.Although the reform of toilets in rural areas in China has achieved a high reform rate and people’s satisfaction has gradually increased under the vigorous promotion of governments at all levels,the uneven development of rural areas in China is very obvious.There are still some problems in the process of rural toilet reform,which significantly affect the satisfaction of the people.Therefore,it is necessary to study the causes of these problems and propose improvement measures to provide guidance for improving people’s satisfaction with toilet reform.Taking Y City,which has both plains and hills,as an example,this paper investigates the implementation of the toilet revolution in rural areas by selecting four representative areas of Y City.A large number of data related to the toilet revolution are collected,analyzed and summarized in the form of questionnaires,case analysis and work visits,so as to understand the planning,construction and construction of harmless sanitary toilets in Y City Based on the current situation of construction,management,protection and use,this paper summarizes the experience and shortcomings of promoting the rural toilet reform in Y City,and investigates the farmers’ satisfaction with the effectiveness of the rural toilet reform in the form of questionnaires from the perspective of the people.Through the construction and analysis of logistic regression model on the collected data,it is found that farmers’ education,income,access to government publicity policies,later maintenance of toilets by the government and the use effect of sanitary toilets are the significant factors affecting farmers’ satisfaction with the transformation effect of rural toilets in Y City.Through these influencing factors,it can be concluded that there are some problems in the transformation of rural toilets in Y City,such as the slow and uneven progress of toilet transformation,the backward products and technology of toilet transformation,the non-establishment of long-term management and protection mode in the later stage,and the imperfect infrastructure of rural toilet transformation.The reasons behind the problems are deeply analyzed: the consciousness of toilet reform is not strong,the flexible system and mechanism applicable to toilet reform has not been established,the market-oriented mechanism has not been introduced,and the main body promoting toilet reform is relatively single.Finally,according to the existing problems and their causes,this paper puts forward targeted and operable measures and suggestions: First,strengthen the role of publicity and guidance;Second,clarify the government’s work responsibilities;Third,establish and improve long-term management mechanism;Fourth,stimulate farmers to participate in the main role of toilet transformation;Fifth,to speed up the research and development of toilet technology,promotion and supporting;Sixth,the introduction of multi-market operation.
