| In the process of traditional agricultural production, the unreasonable application of pesticides and fertilizers and improper disposal of agricultural wastes aggravate the pollution of agricultural environment. In this context,it is particularly important for agriculture to transform from traditional production to green development. In particular,as micro-subjects of agricultural production activities, farmers’ production behaviors will have a direct impact on the overall promotion of agricultural green development. It has been pointed out that farmers’ production behavior is not only affected by internal factors such as individual conditions and family endowment, but also by external environment such as market environment and relevant policies and institutions.Among them,in terms of the influence of policies and institutions, compared with the mandatory institutional changes under the government, informal institutions are a kind of social norms spontaneously formed in people’s long-term production and life and mutual communication. In the society of rural acquaintances, informal institutions have a higher degree of recognition in rural areas. Therefore,it is more effective to use informal institutional means to restrain farmers’ behaviors, promote farmers to respond to and participate in the institutional arrangement of green production through value-oriented,disciplinary supervision and internalization mechanism of transmission, and encourage farmers to produce spontaneous behaviors, which is more effective to improve the current environmental problems.Based on this, this thesis takes facility vegetable farmers as the research object and Ningcheng County, which has the first facility vegetable industry in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,as the research area.Firstly, through literature review and induction, the concepts of farmers’ green production behavior, individual norm, social norm and social network are defined.Based on the theory of farmers’ behavior, norm activation theory and norm focus theory, the influence mechanism of informal system on farmers’ green production behavior is expounded on the basis of previous studies and theoretical analysis, and then the research hypothesis is proposed.Secondly,t he index system of green production behavior was constructed, the composite index measurement method was used to evaluate the various dimensions of green production behavior of farmers in Ningcheng County, the intensity of green production behavior implementation of farmers was measured by factor analysis method, and the explained variables were determined according to the comprehensive factor score. Finally, using the survey data of 305 households in Ningcheng County, the orderly Logistic regression model was used to empirically analyze the influence of informal system on farmers’ green production behavior. The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)In each dimension of green production behavior, farmers’ fertilizer application behavior is the weakest;(2)The overall implementation of green production of farmers in the sample region is good;(3)On the whole, all dimensions of informal institutions(such as individual norms, social norms and social networks)have a significant positive impact on the inten sity of green production implementation of farmers, among which "the frequency of green production communication with friends and relatives" has the most significant impact on the intensity of green production implementation of farmers, indicating that the social network is the most influential factor on the green production behavior of farmers.Based on the results of empirical analysis, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from each dimension of informal system. |
