| In recent years,with the increasing efforts of national policies to support agriculture,Chinese comprehensive grain production capacity has steadily improved,with grain production remaining above 650 million tons for seven consecutive years,and the basic conditions of grain production have gradually improved.2023,the No.1 document of the Central Government proposed to "strengthen the foundation of food security in all aspects",providing unprecedented development opportunities to promote high-quality grain production.This will provide an unprecedented opportunity for the development of high-quality grain production.The increase in grain production in China has laid a solid foundation for ensuring national food security,but grain production is still facing the problems of increasingly tightening resources and environment,the situation of surface pollution is more severe,and the intensity of pesticide and chemical fertilizer application is greater,which is not conducive to green grain production.Farmers,as the most direct business subjects of grain production,their decision-making behavior is directly related to the effectiveness of green grain production.This paper analyzes the factors influencing farmers’ green production behavior based on agricultural green development theory,farmers’ behavior theory and externality theory.Based on the literature analysis,we first analyze the current situation of green grain production in Neixiang County,then construct an evaluation index system of farmers’ green grain production behavior,and measure the participation of farmers’ green grain production behavior in Neixiang County through the composite index method,and then use 330 interviewed farmers’ data in Neixiang County to construct an ordered logistic model for empirical analysis to investigate the factors.The analysis revealed that(1)the overall participation of farmers’ food green production behavior in Neixiang County is not high,and the green production behavior of food is the weakest among resource utilization behavior,pesticide application behavior,fertilizer application behavior and arable land protection behavior.(2)All three dimensions significantly influence farmers’ green production behavior of grain among individual farmers’ characteristics,farmers’ cognitive characteristics and external environment characteristics,and there are differences,among which the effect of external environment characteristics is the most obvious.(3)Among the many variables,"agricultural subsidies" among the external environmental characteristics has the highest influence coefficient,highlighting the importance of its influencing factors;followed by "neighbor relationship",and finally,"presence of village cadres" among the cognitive characteristics of farmers.The last variable is "whether there are village officials in the household".Finally,based on the empirical results,this paper proposes targeted countermeasures from three aspects: farmers,organizations,and government.At the farmer level,we should establish a farmer trait identification system,build a farmer green production education and training system,and strengthen farmers’ self-restraint awareness cultivation;at the organization level,we should encourage farmers to join agricultural cooperatives,mobilize the service function of industrial organizations,and play the leading role of leading enterprises;at the government level,we should strengthen the publicity of green food production,establish a food green production subsidy system,and increase the government’s farmer behavior regulation efforts. |
