Guilin rice noodle culture is an important part of the food culture system in Guilin,which has a history of thousands of years,which is not only a comprehensive cultural display of social history,production activities and living customs in Guilin,but also an important part of the food culture of the Chinese nation.Based on the theory of food culture and related principles,this paper is based on the author’s collection and analysis of various materials of Guilin rice noodle culture,as well as several visits and investigations in various parts of Guilin,and uses multidisciplinary theoretical knowledge and research methods to carry out specific research on the inheritance and development of Guilin rice noodle culture.By analyzing the historical origin of Guilin rice noodle culture,this paper sorts out the formation factors and historical development process of Guilin rice noodle culture,so as to explore the cultural structure of Guilin rice noodle culture on this basis,and then make a dilemma of inheritance and development based on the development status of Guilin rice noodle culture.By observing the current development status of Guilin rice noodle culture,we can understand that Guilin rice noodle culture is facing many major problems in the process of inheritance and development at this stage,such as weak awareness of cultural protection,strong regional dependence,insufficient corporate marketing efforts,insufficient business model,and low integration of culture and tourism.To this end,starting from the specific situation of China’s current social development,this paper proposes improving protection awareness and enhancing cultural self-confidence.Improve the production process and break through geographical restrictions;Strengthen brand marketing and create distinctive brands;Take advantage of new industry regulations to carry out multi-faceted integration;Make use of tourism resources to promote cultural development and a series of content suggestions and program countermeasures.To sum up,Guilin rice noodle culture is one of Guilin’s important food culture,for the inheritance and development of Guilin rice noodles,a dietary intangible cultural heritage,we should respect its cultural connotation,pay attention to its cultural structure and production technology,and at the same time appropriately introduce modern technology and business models,so that Guilin rice noodles can be better inherited and developed.
