Environmental education is one of the important functions of national parks in China,and it is also an important measure of ecological civilization construction.Carrying out environmental education is an essential part of building national parks in China,which is of far-reaching significance for popularizing environmental knowledge,shaping ecological aesthetics and spreading ecological culture.Tourists are important audience for environmental education in national parks,and realizing the stimulation and cultivation of tourists’ pro-environmental behavior by environmental education is the ultimate embodiment of effectively exerting the environmental education function of national parks.However,the construction of national parks in China started late,and the environmental education of national parks is a new thing,which is not mature enough in many aspects such as management mechanism,system planning,content form,facilities and services,and it is difficult to achieve the expected goal of cultivating tourists’ pro-environmental behavior.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the relationship between environmental education in national parks and tourists’ pro-environmental behavior,and clarify the influence path of environmental education in national parks on tourists’ pro-environmental behavior,which is of great significance for making good use of environmental education resources in national parks and promoting tourists to perform pro-environmental behavior in the natural "big classroom" of national parks.Based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response(SOR)Theory,combining with Environmental Literacy Model,Place Theory,Attitude-Behavior-Condition Theory(ABC Model),Arousal Theory,and Behavior Setting Theory,and referring to the related research at home and abroad,this paper selects three influencing variables,place attachment,environmental attitude and environmental quality,which may play an important role in the process of environmental education affecting pro-environmental behavior,and puts forward 11 research hypotheses to construct a theoretical relationship model between perception of environmental education and pro-environmental behavior.Through the analysis of the basic situation and the present situation of environmental education,Wuyishan National Park is selected as the research object.On the basis of 728 valid survey data,using structural equation model,deviation correction percentile Bootstrap method and hierarchical regression method,descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity verification,path analysis,mediating effect test and moderating effect test are carried out on the sample data,and the research hypothesis are verified and the theoretical relationship model is tested and revised,thus the final model between environmental education and tourists’ pro-environmental behavior in Wuyishan National Park is obtained.The empirical results show that:(1)Sightseeing is the tourism motivation of most tourists in Wuyishan National Park,and experiencing nature,leisure and entertainment are their primary needs.The dimension average of tourists’ pro-environmental behavior is the lowest,which is obviously lower than the dimension average of other four latent variables such as perception of environmental education,place attachment,environmental attitude and environmental quality.This means that environmental education in Wuyishan National Park does have great room for improvement in cultivating tourists’ pro-environmental behavior.(2)Environmental education perception,place attachment and environmental attitude directly and significantly promote pro-environmental behavior,and perception of environmental education also has a significant positive impact on place attachment and environmental attitude.(3)Environmental education in Wuyishan National Park positively affects tourists’ pro-environmental behavior along three influence paths.Path 1 is "perception of environmental education→pro-environmental behavior",which is a direct influencing path;Path 2 is " perception of environmental education→place attachment→pro-environmental behavior",and path 3 is " perception of environmental education→environmental attitude→pro-environmental behavior",all of which are indirect influence paths.Among them,the influence effect of path 1 accounts for 44.78% of the total effect,and the indirect effect of path 2 and path 3 accounts for 55.22% of the total effect.Place attachment and environmental attitude play an important intermediary role between perception of environmental education and pro-environmental behavior.(4)The environmental quality of external situation positively regulates the relationship between perception of environmental education and place attachment,which means that the higher the tourists’ perception of environmental quality of Wuyishan National Park,the stronger the driving effect of national park environmental education on tourists’ place attachment.On the one hand,this study enriches the related literature achievements of national park environmental education,fills the research blank of the influence of national park environmental education on tourists’ pro-environmental behavior,and expands the theoretical scope of tourists’ pro-environmental behavior research.On the other hand,from four aspects including constructing environmental education management mechanism,perfecting environmental education system planning,enriching the content of environmental education activities,innovating environmental education facilities and services,it provides countermeasures and suggestions for Wuyishan National Park to carry out environmental education well and enhance the cultivation effect of environmental education on tourists’ pro-environmental behavior,which has important practical significance.
