Research On The Influencing Factors Of Farmers' Green Production Willingness In Wanzho

The Three Rural Issues is a fundamental problem that affects the people’s livelihood of the country,which is related to the political,economic and social development and stability of the country.The State has long attached great importance to the development of agriculture,and the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that promoting green development of agriculture is an inevitable requirement for strengthening the construction of ecological civilization and building a beautiful China.At present,China’s agricultural economy is developing rapidly and has achieved good performances.The rough agricultural production method,however,has brought great challenges to the ecological environment,with the massive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides,high resource consumption and increasingly serious environmental pollutions.In this context,new agricultural production methods are needed to coordinate the simultaneous development of economy and society,so there is an urgent need to change the current agricultural production methods from high resource consumption and high environmental pollution to green agricultural production methods.In view of this,many scholars at home and abroad have conducted research on green agricultural production,and their achievements are obvious to all,but there are also shortcomings.Most scholars are limited to studying green agriculture at the macro and policy levels,but lack research on the important factors affecting farmers’ willingness to green production from the micro farmers’ perspective.In fact,promoting the development of green agricultural production is closely related to farmers’ willingness.This paper therefore focuses on the factors influencing farmers’ willingness to green production of Wanzhou by selecting the typical demonstration sites of rice and fishery comprehensive planting and breeding in Wanzhou District,Longsha Town,Ganning Town,Baitu Town and Baiyang Town,as samples.In details,the background of The Subject is firstly introduced from the necessity of this study which is explained from the purpose and significance of the study.It reviews the domestic and foreign literatures on green agricultural production,summarizes and evaluates them,puts forward the problems,and points out the possible innovations and shortcomings of this paper;Next,the relevant concepts and the theoretical basis is defined for the study.And then it analyzes the current situation of the green development of rice and fishery comprehensive planting and breeding,mainly the production status and benefit analysis of rice and fishery industry;The next step is analyzed the sample data of farmers based on the survey of farmers’ willingness to green production.It takes whether farmers are willing to engage in agricultural green production as the dependent variable and farmers’ basic characteristics,farmers’ green production cognition,social factors and environmental regulations as the independent variables,and then a binary logistics regression model is built to empirically analyze the important factors affecting farmers’ green production willingness;Finally,feasible policy recommendations is putted forward according to the conclusions of the study.The research results show that 61.58 percent of farmers have the intention of green production.In fact,many factors affect farmers’ decisions on green production.Among the basic characteristic variables of farmers,age,education level,annual family income level,risk preference,incentive environmental regulation and guiding environmental regulation have a significant positive impact on their willingness to produce green agriculture;Among the cognitive variables of farmers’ green production,behavioral cognition,economic cognition,ecological cognition and social cognition have significant positive effects on farmers’ green agricultural production intention;Among the variables of social factors,social network communication and social services have a significant positive impact on farmers’ willingness to produce green agriculture;And among the environmental regulation variables,incentive environmental regulation and guiding environmental regulation have a significant positive impact on farmers’ willingness to green agriculture.In view of this,the paper putting forward feasible policy recommendations as follows: the first one is to strengthen the publicity of green production and improve the cognitive level of farmers;the second one is to vigorously expand educational channels to serve green agricultural production;the third one is to improve agricultural support policies and strengthen the role of financial support;and the last one is to improve the social service system and help the new development of green production.
