In order to cope with the challenges brought by global environmental pollution and climate change, the Chinese government proposed a "double carbon" goal in 2020,which will involve the greening and low-carbonization of people’s living consumption.Low-carbon consumption can directly promote the process of carbon emission reduction,on the one hand, advocating low-carbon consumption can improve the demand structure of energy consumption from the terminal;on the other hand, advocating low-carbon consumption can force the production side to accelerate the reform of low-carbon production technology. The realization of low-carbon consumption is not only limited to the cultivation of the green consumption awareness of the whole people, but also to build a green circular economic development path through the insight into the residents’ life consumption behavior, and at the same time,it is necessary to improve the relevant production technology, reduce the cost of green consumption, and make this low-carbon consumption method close to the people and convenient, and become the first choice for people’s life consumption. In this regard,it is necessary for the government, enterprises, communities and the public to participate together to build a new consumption model under the "double carbon".Studying the carbon emissions of Tianjin residents’ daily consumption and analyzing their influencing factors and contributions can not only promote the development of a low-carbon economy in Tianjin and encourage the low-carbon consumption behavior of citizens, but also have practical significance for promoting the sustainable development of Tianjin’s economy and responding to the problem of climate change in Tianjin.According to the characteristics of the energy consumption of residents in Tianjin, this paper constructs a carbon emission measurement model and method for residents’ consumption, comprehensively defines the influencing factors affecting the carbon emissions of Tianjin residents’ daily consumption, determines the main types of energy consumed by Tianjin residents’ lives, and uses the carbon emission coefficient method to calculate the direct carbon emissions of residents’ lives.Introduce the "general price of energy" and use the input-output method to measure the indirect carbon emissions of residents’ lives.Subsequently, the LMDI Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index)decomposition model is used to decompose the carbon emissions of domestic consumption in Tianjin,so as to study the specific influencing factors affecting the carbon emissions of residents’ lives, and finally put forward constructive suggestions based on the analysis results. The study found that the carbon emissions of Tianjin residents’ direct consumption showed a rapid growth trend. The indirect carbon emissions of Tianjin residents’ daily consumption have shown a relatively large growth state, and people account for a large proportion of carbon emissions in residential and transportation communications, and are more dependent on the consumption of electricity, heat and gasoline. After constructing an LMDI model to decompose the carbon emissions of residents’ daily consumption in Tianjin,it is found that the population size, income level and energy structure have a role in promoting the growth of direct carbon emissions, while the consumption tendency and energy consumption intensity of residents have a restraining effect on the increase of direct carbon emissions. The energy intensity effect is the most important reason for controlling the growth of indirect carbon emissions in the daily life of residents, and the energy structure effect is also an important influencing factor to promote the overall indirect carbon emissions of Tianjin residents. In this regard,it is recommended to make improvements from the four aspects of "clothing","food","housing" and "travel" : "clothing" suggests that raw materials and processes go hand in hand to promote new consumption of green clothing;"food" suggests focusing on technological upgrading to improve quality and efficiency, and advocating the new trend of green food culture;"living" suggests the development of green production of building materials to increase the penetration rate of smart homes;"transportation travel" suggests that green travel leads the new revolution, and shared travel culture helps promote carbon emission reduction.
