| Agenda 21 clearly states that if our economy is to achieve sustainable development,it will need to take a sustainable path of consumption. However, this approach will increase carbon emissions, while carbon emissions will be counterproductive to people’s daily lives, affecting people’s high-level and high-level life.Subsequently, the report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed a blueprint for the "five in one" with Chinese characteristics.Put ecological civilization construction in a prominent position and integrate it into all aspects of economic construction, political construction, cultural construction and social construction. This shows that in addition to affecting the long-term development of the country, environmental issues are closely related to the daily life of the people. In recent years, the development of urbanization has emphasized the integration of the concept of ecological civilization into the whole process of development, comprehensively improving the quality of urbanization development, and taking the road of intensive, green and low-carbon ecological civilization. This puts higher demands on China’s urbanization, that is,it can not only focus on the improvement of speed, but also pay attention to the improvement of the quality of urbanization development, promote the low-carbon development of urbanization, and promote the influence of carbon emissions from urban residents.Reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. At the same time, most of the researches on carbon dioxide emissions in China have been carried out from the perspective of enterprises, and there are few studies on the carbon emissions from the consumption of residents. The lack of theoretical research will directly affect China’s policy decisions and the actual effect of reducing emissions. Therefore, this paper studies the factors affecting the carbon emissions of urban residents’ living consumption, and proposes corresponding methods to reduce carbon emissions.Based on the previous scholars’ research, this paper studies the influencing factors of urban residents’ living carbon emissions from LMDI model and multivariate linear model. The results show that the energy-saving technology effect, the energy structure effect, and the consumption expenditure effect directly affect the carbon emissions of urban residents’ consumption, which have a positive effect on the reduction of carbon emissions;while the income level effect and the scale effect of China’s urban population have a reduction in carbon emissions.Negative effects;the conclusions of the two models are consistent. Therefore,we can see that we should vigorously develop energy-saving technologies, continue to optimize theenergy structure, and optimize the consumption structure while gradually improving people’s living standards. |
