| The rapid development of information and communication technologies represented by the Internet,big data,and cloud computing.The deep integration with various fields of economic and social development have promoted the accelerated development of the digital economy.In 2020,the Chinese government issued the ’ 14 th Five-Year Plan ’,clearly proposing to accelerate digital development and build a digital China.As a pillar industry of the national economy,compared with other industries,the overall digital level of the iron and steel industry is relatively low.Most iron and steel enterprises are still lack of intelligence in production,logistics and operation.In recent years,the steel industry has paid more attention to digital transformation and accelerated the pace of digital transformation.But it is still in the initial stage of development,There is a large space for development in the future.As the leader of China ’s iron and steel industry,Bao Steel Co.,Ltd.,with its profound technological accumulation and strong learning ability,comprehensively understands the development ideas of the new era.It takes the lead in implementing intelligent transformation and digital transformation in the industry,developing in the direction of green,intelligent,high-quality and efficient.Therefore,this paper takes Baosteel as the research object,analyzes and summarizes its successful experience in implementing digital transformation,which can provide useful reference for other enterprises to accelerate digital development.This paper analyzes the motivation,path and performance of Baosteel ’s digital transformation by combining case analysis and literature research.The theoretical overview section introduces the basic concepts of digital economy and digital transformation.Summarizes the motivation of digital transformation in the iron and steel industry.Introduces the general path of digital transformation in the iron and steel industry.Analyzes the internal logic of digital transformation in the iron and steel industry affecting enterprise performance.And briefly summarizes the process reengineering theory,value chain theory,organizational change theory and other related theoretical basis.In the case analysis section,the basic situation of Baosteel,the process of digital transformation,and the basis for selecting Baosteel as a case study are first elaborated.Then it analyzes the motivation of Baosteel ’s digital transformation from three aspects : resource allocation,data information transmission and enterprise sustainable development.Then,the specific implementation path of Baosteel ’s digital transformation is systematically expounded from the perspectives of technical equipment,intelligent system and data platform.Then,by analyzing the changes of financial indicators and non-financial indicators,it is found that digital transformation can improve the financial and non-financial performance of Baosteel to a certain extent.Through the application of intelligent equipment,Baosteel has realized the digitization of production and manufacturing.Through the construction of intelligent system,the digitization of product operation is realized.Through the establishment of data platform,the organization management digitization is realized.Intelligent equipment improves product quality and reduces resource consumption;intelligent system improves production efficiency and reduces operating costs.The digital platform reconstructs the management system and improves the efficiency of enterprise management.Through the analysis and evaluation of the path and performance of Baosteel ’s digital transformation,this paper draws the following conclusions :digital transformation has changed the traditional R & D,production,sales and management mode of Baosteel,making its products closer to customers and meeting customer needs.At the same time,it has increased the intensity of talent introduction and R & D,improved the financial performance and comprehensive ability of enterprises.Promoted the long-term development of enterprises.. |
