| In current era,the rapid development of information technology has set off a wave of global real economy to digital economy transformation.With the integration and penetration of new technology clusters represented by "Great Wisdom Cloud" and 5G on a global scale,digital economy has become a new driving force for changing life style and industrial transformation and upgrading.Today,as a core driving factor for the steady development of the global economy,the scale of digital economy continues to rise in many countries.For our country,the scale of digital economy will reach 45.5 trillion yuan in 2021,accounting for 39.8% of GDP.Facing the opportunities and challenges brought by the development of digital economy,the implementation of digital industrialization and industry digitization is the key to enhance national economic strength.In 2021,China’s industrial digitalization scale will reach 37.18 trillion yuan,accounting for 81.7% and 32.5% of digital economy and GDP respectively.Industrial digitalization has become the "main driver" of the development of digital economy,but industrial digitalization still has broad prospects for development.The chemical industry is one of the pillar industries in our country,and it is very important for its industrial digitization to develop deeply.However,there are still some problems in the digitization of the chemical industry,such as late start time,low degree of digitization,which affect the realization of green and high quality development of the chemical industry.Therefore,the important strategic target of chemical industry enterprises is to accelerate the digital transformation and upgrading.Faced with opportunities and challenges,how to apply advanced digital technology to help chemical industry enterprises stand out in the tide of The Times is very important.As an outstanding private enterprise in the chemical industry,Lopal Technologies has hedged various risks caused by changes in the external environment through its digital transformation,and has been formulating development plans for its future digital transformation since 2012.Since then,Lopal Technology has continuously upgraded in all aspects of digital,and finally improved corporate performance.In this paper,Lopal Technology is selected as the research object,and on the basis of the review of value chain theory,process reengineering theory and smile curve theory,the theoretical analysis framework is constructed,and combined with the theoretical analysis framework,the whole process of Lopal technology’s digital transformation is analyzed.Firstly,the external and internal motivation of Lopal’s digital transformation is discussed,and then the influence path of digital transformation on the performance of enterprises in chemical industry is discussed theoretically.Then,the measures of every digital transformation of Lopal and the changes of each link in the value chain after the transformation are carefully analyzed.Then the financial performance analysis method is used to compare the performance changes of Lopal Technology before and after the transformation.Meanwhile,the horizontal comparison of Lopal Technology,Compton,Delion Group and the average performance of the industry is conducted to explore the impact of Lopal Technology’s digital transformation on the enterprise performance.Finally,through analyzing the influence mechanism and path of digital transformation on enterprise performance,this paper analyzes Lopal’s enterprise value.It is found that Lopal’s digital transformation has optimized the management and operation of all links in the value chain,while improving corporate performance and enhancing corporate value.The specific paths are as follows: 1.Optimized enterprise operation and management through ERP upgrade and transformation.2.Self-established "Lopal Cloud",enabling data to be task-oriented and management to be modular and realize interconnection.3.Implement omni-channel marketing mode to facilitate marketing digitalization.4.Build smart factories,continuously optimize the management and operation of each link in the value chain,and drive value creation with data.In addition,the paper finally puts forward some suggestions for the shortcomings of Lopal technology’s digital transformation.By analyzing the motivation,path and performance of Lopal’s digital transformation,this paper aims to explore the relationship between digital transformation and enterprise performance,and further enrich relevant research,in order to provide reference for other similar enterprises in their digital transformation. |
