Since the reform and opening up,China has witnessed rapid economic growth,continuous improvement of industrial development,acceleration of urban development,and leapfrog growth of urbanization.However,in the process,various contradictions such as resource exhaustion and environmental pollution have also been gradually highlighted.As an important resource support for the development of western China,resource-based cities in Sichuan Province are mainly resource-dependent economy in their development mode.However,after continuous exploitation,resource reserves are reduced,ecological environment deteriorates,industrial structure is unbalanced,and urbanization development is hindered,which seriously affects the sustainable development of the region.Therefore,in order to further promote Chinese-style modernization and realize the goal of "double carbon",it is urgent to promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,promote the improvement of ecological environment quality,promote the upgrading of new urbanization level,and promote the coordinated development of industrial structure,ecological environment and new urbanization.This paper takes resource-based cities in Sichuan Province as the research object to analyze the coupling and coordination relationship among industrial structure,ecological environment and new urbanization during 2005-2020.Firstly,the evaluation index systems of industrial structure,ecological environment and new urbanization of research areas were constructed.The entropy method and comprehensive index model were used to measure the comprehensive level of the three systems,and the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics were analyzed.Secondly,the coupling coordination degree model and time series analysis method are used to analyze the coupling and coordination development of industrial structure,ecological environment and new urbanization of research areas and their spatio-temporal evolution characteristics.Finally,through the obstacle degree factor evaluation model to diagnose the main factors affecting the coordinated development of the three,and then put forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coordinated development of research areas.The conclusions are as follows:(1)From 2005 to 2020,the industrial structure upgrading level of resource-based cities in Sichuan Province developed rapidly,showing an overall rising trend,and the average industrial structure index increased from 0.139 to 0.534;Among them,the level of Panzhihua City is higher,Nanchong City and Dazhou City is lower.(2)From 2005 to2020,the eco-environment quality of resource-based cities in Sichuan Province showed a small increase range,showing a fluctuating trend,and the average eco-environment index increased from 0.388 to 0.555;The ecological environment quality of Ya ’an city is higher than that of Zigong City and Panzhihua City.(3)From 2005 to 2020,the new urbanization level of resource-based cities in Sichuan Province increased rapidly,showing a trend of fluctuation and rising,with the average value of new urbanization index rising from 0.147 to 0.488;Nanchong City and Zigong City have higher levels,Guangyuan City and Guang ’an city have lower levels.(4)From 2005 to 2020,the coupling degree of industrial structure,ecological environment and new urbanization of research areas showed a disorderly fluctuation,and basically maintained an upward trend;Zigong City,Nanchong City and Dazhou City maintained a high level of coupling state earlier.(5)From 2005 to 2020,the coupling coordination degree of industrial structure-ecological environment-new urbanization of research areas maintained a steady rising trend;At the end of the study period,all cities entered the coordinated development period,among which Luzhou City had the highest coupling coordination degree,but only reached the intermediate coordination degree.(6)In the aspect of influencing factor analysis,the obstacle factors of the system layer are mainly industrial structure system,and the obstacle degree value is basically above 50%;The obstacle factors of the index layer are mainly the per capita water resources and the per capita output value of the secondary industry,and the obstacle degree value is basically above 20%.
