As one of the most active market players in the carbon market,carbon asset management companies play an extremely important role in connecting the supply and demand of carbon assets,providing carbon trading information,and facilitating carbon trading.In the face of complex and uncertain internal and external environment,promoting the healthy and orderly development of carbon asset management companies by formulating scientific and reasonable development strategies is not only conducive to promoting the optimal allocation of carbon assets in China,but also of great practical significance to the realization of China’s "double carbon" strategic objectives..However,under the dual background of the "dual carbon" strategy and the continuous promotion of the construction of the national carbon market,there are still relatively few researches on the development strategy of carbon asset management companies systematically.In view of this,this paper chooses A carbon asset management company as an example,which is engaged in carbon asset development business earlier and has certain influence in China.The data of this paper is obtained through literature collection,field survey and other methods.Using the above data,the paper first gives a comprehensive introduction to A Carbon Asset Management Company and its business status.Secondly,based on the interview data of stakeholders,this paper analyzes the internal strengths and weaknesses,external opportunities and challenges of the development of A Carbon Asset Enterprise Management Company by constructing a SWOT analysis framework model incorporating the internal conditions and external environment of the enterprise development.Thirdly,the paper puts forward the strategic choice and priority of the development of A Carbon Asset Management Company.Finally,combined with the objectives and positioning of the development strategy of A Carbon Asset Enterprise Management Company,the article further analyzes the business level design and functional strategy design of its development strategy.The study found that:(1)Under the background of the "two-carbon" strategy,A carbon asset management company has advantages such as obvious human capital,advanced product development technology,mature successful experience in carbon asset development and perfect product sales network.At the same time,under the accelerating construction of China’s carbon market and the "dual carbon" strategic goal,the development of A carbon asset management company is faced with major opportunities such as the international consensus on tackling climate change,the implementation of the domestic "dual carbon" strategy and the construction of carbon market at home and abroad.This brings great opportunities for the development of A Carbon Asset management company.(2)In the context of the "two-carbon" strategy,the disadvantages of A carbon asset management company include relatively backward operation and management concept,relatively short capital and lack of liquidity,and relatively simple types of carbon products.Under the new situation,the development of A carbon asset management company still faces such challenges as increasing competition brought by the increasing number of similar enterprises,greater uncertainty of carbon market management economic policies,and greater financing constraints for the development of carbon asset management company.Of course,these disadvantages and challenges are also common problems of carbon asset management companies.(3)Based on SWOT analysis and product life cycle theory,the optimal strategic choice for the development of A carbon asset management company should be the expansionary advantage and opportunity(SO)strategy under the background of "two-carbon" objectives.The strategic direction of the company’s development is to continue to expand the domestic and international carbon market and carbon sink asset management related industrial chain by relying on the technological advantages of carbon sink project development,and realize diversified business layout.In order to ensure the realization of the development strategy of A carbon asset management company,this paper further clarified the specific functional strategy of the development of A carbon asset management company from the perspectives of marketing,technology,manpower,information and knowledge,and finally proposed the following specific strategic support measures: First,establish and improve the company’s technology research and development department to provide organizational support for carbon asset research and development;Secondly,develop and implement scientific incentive system to provide institutional guarantee for the growth of carbon asset management personnel;Third,innovative forms of cooperation to provide effective fund guarantee for the company’s financing;Fourthly,establish and optimize the Marketing Department to provide strong information guarantee for the company to obtain market information. |
