| With the proposed strategic goal of "carbon neutralization,carbon peak",the proportion of low-end manufacturing industry is too high,environmental pollution is serious,and the marginal benefits of traditional production factors are diminishing.How to rely on the development dividend of digital economy,break through the double restrictions of resources and environment,and realize green transformation and upgrading become the future development direction of the manufacturing industry.Studies have shown that accelerating the integration and innovation of modern manufacturing and digital economy has become a key link to solve the "pain point" in the green transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry.However,the impact mechanism of enabling the green transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry by digital economy is still unclear.Therefore,based on the dual perspectives of resource empowerment and structure empowerment,this paper brings industrial digitalization and digital governance into the same analytical framework,introduces the intermediary variable of green process innovation,uses Super-SBM model,GML index model,text mining method and fixed effect model,and takes 311 listed manufacturing companies from 2015 to 2020 as research samples.This paper conducts an empirical study on the influence mechanism of the green transformation and upgrading of the digital economy enabling manufacturing industry,and proposes effective ways and government intervention strategies to realize the green transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)After considering the non-expected output of labor,capital,energy input and pollutant emission index,the green transformation and upgrading level of Chinese manufacturing industry fluctuates and the green transformation and upgrading level of Chinese manufacturing industry is obviously different.Therefore,it is necessary to further expand the green development space of manufacturing industry through digital technological progress;(2)The digital technology transformation within enterprises has improved the factor allocation efficiency of manufacturing enterprises and produced the technology iteration effect.The popularization of digital technology has broken the original blocked development mode of manufacturing enterprises,obtained the spillover effect of digital technology,and significantly improved the level of green transformation and upgrading.(3)The integrated development of digital technology and manufacturing technology provides digital design for the green process innovation process of enterprises,and promotes the continuous reduction of the linkage marginal cost between various departments of the enterprise process.As two dimensions of green process innovation,clean production technology innovation and end management technology innovation,It plays a significant mediating role in the process of digital technology transformation promoting the green transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry.(4)The characteristics of online business,data operation and fulltouch digitalization presented by digital government enable government governance to realize the leap from data island to data circulation and sharing.The improvement of government digital governance ability promotes the system optimization and process reengineering of government system,which can positively adjust the promoting effect of digital technology transformation on the green transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry.By identifying the situational factors and influencing mechanism of the green transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry enabled by digital economy,it will help to realize the sustainable development of the manufacturing industry,and provide important basis for our country to effectively implement the ecological civilization construction strategy and digital development strategy. |
