As the top-level Economic Cooperation Initiative put forward by China, the construction of the "the Belt and Road" will increase investment in countries along the route and drive the consumption of various aluminum products. The development level and uneven distribution of aluminum resources exist in the countries along the line, and trade between countries is essential. In view of this, this paper aims to grasp the evolution characteristics of the aluminum industry chain trade pattern of countries along the "the Belt and Road",analyze the core countries of trade, and understand the spatial structure and influencing factors of the aluminum industry chain of countries along the "the Belt and Road",with a view to giving suggestions for the construction of the aluminum industry chain of countries along the "the Belt and Road".Using the complex network analysis method, this paper constructs the upstream, midstream and downstream weighted trade networks of the aluminum industry chain of countries along the "the Belt and Road".Through the network analysis indicators such as node degree, weighting degree, trade density, intermediary centrality, eigenvector centrality, proximity centrality and modularity, this paper analyzes the upstream, middle and downstream of the aluminum industry chain from the perspectives of trade scale, trade role and trade community in 2006-2020 Make statistical analysis on the pattern characteristics and the evolution of the characteristics of the midstream and downstream trade networks. Then,QAP correlation analysis is used to calculate the correlation between the upstream, midstream and downstream of the aluminum industry chain, and QAP regression analysis is used to quantify the impact of economic factors, distance factors, institutional factors, resource factors and scientific and technological factors on different segments of the aluminum industry chain of countries along the "the Belt and Road".Finally, based on the development status of the economic environment of the countries along the "the Belt and Road",optimize the "the Belt and Road" aluminum industry chain from the perspective of industrial chain extension, upgrading and integration. The following conclusions are drawn:(1)most countries have participated in the trade of various segments of the "the Belt and Road" aluminum industry chain, and the upstream trade tends to be more international, while the midstream and downstream trade tends to be more community-based.China and India are core trading countries in all segments of the aluminum industry chain of countries along the "the Belt and Road".Indonesia has strong control over China’s bauxite trade,Russia and Ukraine have close trade exchanges in midstream products, and Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have close trade exchanges in downstream products.(2)The upstream product trade network and the midstream product trade network are weakly correlated, while the upstream product trade network is strongly correlated with the midstream product trade network and the downstream product trade network.Economic factors, distance factors, institutional factors, resource factors and scientific and technological factors have different degrees of influence on the upstream, midstream and downstream of the "the Belt and Road" aluminum industry chain.(3)The countries along the "the Belt and Road" have strong economic vitality and huge consumer market potential. However, the scientific research strength is generally insufficient, the geographical space span is large, and there are contradictions between countries. The aluminum industry chain of countries along the "the Belt and Road" can be optimized by extending, upgrading and integrating the aluminum industry chain. |
