Research On Development Of Steel Export Trade Between China And Other Countries Within One Belt And One Road

From the perspective of trade potential,this paper studies the hot issue of China’s steel trade export potential to countries along the route under the “One Belt,One Road,” initiative.Therefore,this paper adopts statistical and empirical analysis methods.The article firstly analyzes the overall situation of China’s steel industry export trade and China’s development of steel export trade along the “Belt and Road” countries,and then uses the extended gravity model to use Eviews9 measurement software.Regression analysis of China’s factors affecting the export of steel products to countries along the “Belt and Road”,and then predicting China’s future steel export potential to countries along the route,and finally summarizing the research conclusions and making relevant recommendations.The research results show that the concentration of China’s steel products export market is relatively high.Among them,ASEAN countries are the main export areas of China’s steel export trade within the “Belt and Road”.In addition,the results of empirical analysis show that China and the importing countries along the line GDP and the per capita gross national income of importing countries have a positive relationship with the amount of export trade.The total population of the importing countries and the relative distance between the two countries are inversely related to the volume of export trade.The regression coefficients of the two dummy variables are positive,but whether the two countries belong to the WTO member countries did not pass the significance test.Finally,the results of forecasting China’s future steel export potential to countries along the route show that China and nearly two-thirds of the countries along the country have unlimited future steel export trade potential.Among them,countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia are the key steel trade exports in the future.region.Based on the above results,the corresponding policy recommendations are proposed in the last chapter of this paper.Including efforts to promote economic and trade cooperation with ASEAN countries,efforts to improve the efficiency of ChinaASEAN free trade agreements,strengthen infrastructure construction,and promote trade connectivity;continue to actively implement the "One Belt,One Road" initiative.
