Research On The Effect Of Seedling Embroidery In Huayuan County On Helping Farmers Increase Income

In 2021,the state promulgated the implementation rules of the Opinions on Further Strengthening the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage,which states that intangible cultural heritage is an important part of Chinese traditional culture and a vivid witness of the continuation and inheritance of Chinese civilization.As an important part of intangible cultural heritage,Miao embroidery has attracted much attention since it was inscribed on the first list of intangible cultural heritage in 2006.This paper takes this as a starting point to explore whether seedling embroidery can promote the growth of farmers’ income.What is the effect on increasing farmers’income?The above issues have important research significance and clear display orientation in promoting the development of seedling embroidery industry and promoting the increase of farmers’ income.Based on this goal,this paper first uses literature analysis and field research method to sort out,analyze and clarify the influence mechanism of seedling embroidery on farmers’ income.Secondly,the questionnaire survey method was used to obtain the data of farmers in Huayuan County,Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture,Hunan Province,and the quantitative model was constructed through the obtained data for empirical analysis.Finally,conclusions are drawn and countermeasures are proposed.This paper mainly includes three parts:theoretical analysis,empirical analysis,and countermeasure suggestions,and the specific arrangements are as follows:In terms of theoretical analysis,based on transaction cost theory,human capital theory,farmer behavior theory and income distribution theory,this paper reviews the economic impact of seedling embroidery and the impact of seedling embroidery on farmers’ income from a micro perspective,and constructs a theoretical model of seedling embroidery to promote agricultural income.In terms of empirical analysis,this paper adopts a combination of questionnaire survey method and field research method,and selects five areas of Malichang Town,Shilan Town,Shuanglong Town,Yayou Town and Minle Town as key research sites in Huayuan County,Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture,Hunan Province,and randomly selects 425 villagers to participate in the questionnaire survey,and systematically analyzes the individual characteristics and family endowments of farmers.Excluding 10 questionnaires with serious data loss,an endogenous transformation model was constructed based on the obtained 415 valid farmer household data,and the growth effect of seedling embroidery development on farmers’ income in Huayuan County was analyzed,and finally the counterfactual hypothesis method was used to test the influence mechanism of seedling embroidery on farmers’ income.In terms of problem countermeasures,the empirical results show that seedling embroidery has a significant positive effect on farmers’ income,and the failure of seedling embroidery farmers to participate in seedling embroidery work will reduce the net income of farmers’ households by about 98.44%.On the contrary,the net household income of non-seedling embroidery farmers will increase by about 94.12%by participating in seedling embroidery work.On the basis of the above research,in view of the problems existing in the Miao embroidery industry in empirical analysis,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from three aspects:strengthening control,people-oriented,and Miao embroidery media.
