The Influencing Factors And Countermeasures For Farmers’ Participation In Household Waste Classification And Treatment In Some Mountainous Areas Of Xingtai City

Implementing the classification and treatment of rural household waste is an inevitable requirement for Xingtai City to achieve high-quality rural revitalization and build a beautiful countryside.With the transformation of rural production and lifestyle,the amount of rural household waste continues to increase,which has a serious impact on the environment and human health,and also poses great challenges to the construction of rural ecological civilization in Xingtai City.At present,although the classification and treatment of rural household waste in Xingtai City has achieved certain results,there are still some problems in the participation of farmers.To further address the issue of farmers’ participation in rural household waste classification and treatment in Xingtai City,this article first defines the concepts involved,including rural household waste,waste classification and treatment,and farmers’ participation behavior.Then,this paper deeply analyzes the theory of planned behavior,ABC theory and interpersonal behavior theory.Through combing and summarizing the relevant literature,combined with the actual situation of some mountainous areas in Xingtai City,it puts forward research assumptions,selects reasonable indicators,and designs questionnaires.This article focuses on scientificity and operability.Through expert consultation and on-site investigation,a questionnaire is carefully designed to ensure that the data obtained accurately reflects the current situation of farmers participating in the classification and treatment of household waste in the sample area.This article randomly sampled three villages in rural Xingtai City,distributed and collected 426 valid questionnaires,and then conducted empirical analysis on the questionnaires using SPSS and AMOS software.The results indicate that farmers’ attitudes,subjective norms,perceptual behavior control,and environmental cognition can all affect their willingness to participate,thereby affecting their participation behavior,while village emotions have a direct positive impact on their participation behavior.Finally,based on the problems and empirical research results in the sample area,this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions for some mountainous farmers in Xingtai City to participate in the classification and treatment of rural household waste from three aspects: improving farmers’ participation awareness,improving farmers’ participation system,and constructing farmers’ participation mechanism.The aim is to provide relevant optimization plans for the entire Xingtai City and even rural areas throughout the country.
