With the development of economy and society,the degree of industrialization of each country is deepening,and the energy consumption is increasing day by day.The problem of global warming caused by carbon emissions has become increasingly serious in recent years.At the same time,with the rapid development of urbanization in China,economic and trade exchanges between cities become more frequent and close.Carbon emissions are not only affected by factors such as their own economic development level,but also affected by carbon emissions spillovers from neighboring cities.Therefore,the research on coordinated governance of regional carbon emissions has become more and more important.In February2022,the Chengdu-Chongqing Double-city Economic Circle also issued the Joint Action Plan for Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutralization of the Chengdu-Chongqing Double-city Economic Circle.From the perspective of the situation of carbon emissions coordinated governance in the Chengdu-Chongqing Double-city economic circle,the pressure on carbon emissions is still large.Under this background,this thesis explores the coordinated governance path of regional carbon emissions by studying the spatial correlation of carbon emissions in the Chengdu-Chongqing Double-city economic circle,and makes contributions to the realization of the dual-carbon goal.This thesis takes the Chengdu-Chongqing Double-city economic circle as the research object,measures and analyzes the carbon emission status of each city in the region according to the relevant data from 2000 to 2017,and constructs a gravity model based on the carbon emission data to obtain the carbon emission spatial correlation network.The QAP regression method is used to analyze the influencing factors.Finally,combined with the analysis results and the collaborative governance theory,the collaborative governance path of carbon emissions in the Chengdu-Chongqing double-city economic circle is proposed.The main conclusions of the study can be summarized as follows:(1)From the current situation of carbon emissions,the total carbon emissions of the Double-city Economic Circle in Chengdu-Chongqing region showed a gradual increase in the demand for energy due to the rapid economic development between 2000 and 2017,and a gradual decrease in the overall growth rate due to the increasing attention to the ecological environment.In fact,the total carbon emissions have tended to be stable in 2012-2017.The distribution of carbon emissions of cities within the region is not balanced.Chengdu and Chongqing share 60% of the total,while the other cities share a small share with a small difference.At the same time,the carbon emission intensity of each city has significantly decreased during the study period.(2)From the perspective of the carbon emission spatial correlation network,the carbon emission spatial correlation of the Chengdu-Chongqing Double-city economic circle was gradually close during the study period,the carbon emission spatial correlation network was relatively stable,the network efficiency decreased slowly year by year,and the network grade decreased rapidly,and was no longer completely dominated by the two cities of Chengdu-Chongqing.The degree centrality of each city has increased,and the difference is also gradually decreasing,which means that the spatial correlation of carbon emissions between cities is gradually close and the status is gradually equal.(3)From the perspective of influencing factors of QAP regression analysis,the regression coefficient of spatial distance is significant at the level of 1%,indicating that the spatial distance of geographical location will indeed affect the spatial correlation of carbon emissions.The closer the spatial distance is,the higher the probability of generating the spatial correlation of carbon emissions.The regression coefficient of technological innovation difference is significant at the level of 5%,indicating that the gap in technological innovation level will indeed affect the spatial correlation of carbon emissions.The greater the gap in technological innovation level,the higher the possibility of generating the spatial correlation of carbon emissions.(4)From the perspective of collaborative governance: this thesis,combined with the theory of collaborative governance,proposes to carry out collaborative governance from the perspectives of building a collaborative governance organization and clarifying the rights and responsibilities of collaborative governance.At the same time,according to the influencing factors of QAP,it is proposed to focus on promoting collaborative governance from the perspectives of optimizing collaborative governance space and collaborative innovation research and development technology.
