Nowadays,China’s economy has entered a stage of high-quality development, people’s demands for ecological rights and interests are increasing day by day, green and coordination have become the development beacons of the new era,and environmental regulation has become an influencing factor that cannot be ignored in the process of industrial transfer. As a pioneering demonstration area for Industrial Transfer Collaboration in China, the Yangtze River Economic Belt explores how to continuously expand the contribution rate of industrial transfer to the green economic growth of the Yangtze River Economic Belt under increasingly stringent environmental regulations, which is of great significance for solving the problem of unbalanced and insufficient development of the upper, middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River economy and achieving high-quality industrial transfer.First,by sorting out the theory of environmental regulation, the theory of industrial transfer, and the theory of green economic growth, this paper constructs the influence of industrial transfer and green total factor productivity(Green Total Factor Productivity, abbreviated as GTFP,the same below),environmental regulation and GTFP,and the adjustment effect of environmental regulation mechanism.Secondly, the relative proportion of industrial added value method, word frequency analysis method and super-efficiency SBM-GML index are used to measure the industrial transfer volume, environmental regulation level and GTFP of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and on this basis, the industrial transfer, environmental regulation and Analysis of the current status of GTFP.Thirdly, based on the panel data of 107 prefecture-level and above cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2010 to 2019,a two-way fixed effect model and a panel threshold regression model were constructed to explore the impact of industrial transfer in the Yangtze River Economic Belt on GTFP and the differences in environmental regulations under the constraints of environmental regulations. The threshold characteristics of the impact of industrial transfer on GTFP from the perspective of industrialization. The research shows that:(1)Under the dual influence of industrial transformation and upgrading and supply-side structural reform, the amount of industrial transfer in the cities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has shown a decreasing trend;(2)With the deepening of the construction of ecological civilization, the environmental regulation level of the cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt Showing a step-up trend.(3)The GTFP of the Yangtze River Economic Belt presents a fluctuating growth trend, and technological progress is the main driving force for the rise of GTFP.(4)Both industrial transfer and environmental regulation can effectively promote the improvement of GTFP,but environmental regulation has a negative adjustment effect on the relationship between industrial transfer and GTFP in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, that is,environmental regulation will weaken the improvement of GTFP caused by industrial transfer in the Yangtze River Economic Belt effect.(5)Under different levels of environmental regulation, industrial transfer in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has a nonlinear impact on GTFP.When the environmental regulation is less than the threshold(0.6749),the industrial transfer has a promoting effect on GTFP;and when the environmental regulation is greater than the threshold(0.6749),industrial transfer will inhibit the promotion of GTFP.Finally, based on the above research conclusions, combined with the ecological governance process of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the actual situation of industrial upgrading, the countermeasures and suggestions to enable the Yangtze River Economic Belt to undertake high-quality industrial transfer are put forward.
