Calculation And Analysis Of Agricultural Carbon Emission Efficiency In Anhui Province

Since the industrial revolution,with the continuous development of human science and technology,the continuous improvement of agriculture and industry,the large-scale use of fossil fuels,electricity and other energy,the greenhouse gas emissions dominated by carbon dioxide have also increased rapidly,resulting in the increasingly serious problem of global warming.For sustainable and healthy development,we must call on all industries to protect the ecological environment,save energy and reduce emissions,and carry out low-carbon and green production methods.Agriculture is the foundation of our country and it is very important.In essence,agriculture is a two-way interactive industry with the natural environment.It is not only affected by the natural environment,but also produces greenhouse gas emissions such as carbon dioxide.Reasonable and efficient agricultural carbon emissions can not only reduce the excessive consumption of resources,but also contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture in the long run.Therefore,to balance the positive development of agriculture and green emission reduction is the only choice for the development of low-carbon economy.Anhui province is an important agricultural province in China.Reducing agricultural carbon emissions and improving agricultural carbon emission efficiency in Anhui province is an inevitable move in response to national requirements.Firstly,this paper analyzes the cultivated land area and agricultural diesel in Anhui province and its districts from 2010 to 2019.According to the five indexes of agricultural plastic film,effective irrigation area and total power of agricultural machinery,the carbon dioxide emission during this period is calculated by IPCC method.Secondly,combined with the corresponding agricultural GDP data,the agricultural carbon emission efficiency of Anhui province in this time period is calculated and analyzed by using the CCR model and Malmquist index model in the data envelopment analysis(DEA)method.The results are as follows:(1)the total amount of agricultural carbon emissions in Anhui province has decreased year by year since 2014,and the zoning of agricultural carbon emissions from large to small is northern Anhui,central Anhui and southern Anhui;(2)The efficiency of agricultural carbon emission in Anhui province does not reach the effective level,but shows an upward trend.There are great differences among regions.Among them,the efficiency in southern Anhui is the highest and that in Northern Anhui is the lowest;(3)Anhui’s total factor productivity has almost reached the effective level,which shows that Anhui’s sustained efforts in developing low-carbon agriculture have achieved remarkable results.It can be concluded that Anhui province has high enthusiasm for the development of low-carbon agriculture,but the basic level is low.At present,there are also some deficiencies,which need to continue to strengthen guidance and management.Then,the influencing factors of agricultural carbon emission efficiency in Anhui province obtained above are sorted out and passed the Tobit regression test in measurement.Finally,combined with the practical experience of foreign advanced agricultural emission reduction and the actual situation of Anhui province,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the efficiency of agricultural carbon emission in Anhui province.
